Admissions Team definition

Admissions Team means the University’s admissions teams who can be found on xxxx://xxx.xxx.xx.xx/study/undergraduate- study/entry-and-admissions-criteria/admissions- offices.aspx; Cancellation Period means the 14-day statutory period for cancellation referred to at clause 3; CAS means the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies statement for the student visa application, which contains Your unique CAS reference number, information about Your course of study and Your personal details; Charges means payments You may be required to pay to DMU in relation to the use of services such sports facilities or fines for Your late return of University equipment (such as library materials or IT equipment) which are separate from Your Tuition Fees; Contract means this agreement between You and the University and the Key Documents listed in clause 4 as amended from time to time; Deposit means the pre-payment towards Tuition Fees which You need to make to reserve Your place at DMU as specified in Your Offer letter; Deferral means deferral of assessment. You can defer an assessment or assessments but continues to exercise the rights, privileges and responsibilities of student registration, and can continue with studies (subject to any progression requirements); Enrol means on line or on campus enrolment or registration onto Your Programme; Equipment means but is not limited to, computers, laptops, video equipment, camera equipment, books and dvds; Intellectual Property means all intellectual property rights including without limitation patents, registered designs, trademarks and service marks (whether registered or unregistered), copyright and related rights, design rights and any application for any of the foregoing in any part of the world, rights in and to software including source code, rights in and to confidential information and know-how, and database rights;
Admissions Team means the university’s admissions teams who can be found on the contact details for DMU admissions offices webpage – Admissions Office contact; Bursary / Bursaries means a financial award usually given to a Student by the university on the basis of financial need, and which is usually non-repayable by the Student. Admissions Team means the Team who xxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx.xx handles your application process to the University and can be contacted via Needs Based Financial Support means a financial support by the university on the basis of financial need, once the eligible students have met the academic success requirements. Details of the Needs Based Financial Support can be found on the university’swebpage Financial Support and Scholarships and the terms and conditions of Needs Based Financial Support will be considered an addendum to this Contract for the eligible students. Cancellation Period means statutory period for cancellation of this Contract referred to in clause 3; Charges means payments you may be required to make to the University in relation to the use of services including but not limited to sports facilities or fines the late return of the University equipment (such as library materials or IT equipment)which are separate from your Tuition Fees; Contract means these general terms and conditions between you and the University and the Key Documents listed in clause4 as amended from time to time; Security Deposit or Deposit Non -refundable part of Tuition Fees, Deposit prepaid reserves your place at the University as specified in your Offer and relevant Tuition Fee Appendix. If You pay your Tuition Fee for the full duration of your study or in parts, the Deposit amount will be the non–refundable part of your Tuition Fees. The Deposit is non-refundable with some exceptions set out in clause 6 hereof. Deposit shall be paid by the Student before the start of the First Semester.

  • Where more than one CAF is received (e.g. paper and online), the Admissions Team will contact the parent/guardian to resolve the order of preference.
