Approved Investments definition

Approved Investments means Investments made in accordance with the Approved Investment Policy and Approved Unrestricted Investments;
Approved Investments means investments specifically approved by Section 1 of the Act.
Approved Investments means such Investment products that are notified by you to us in writing from time to time.

  • Bank shall be under no obligation or duty to take action to effect collection of, or be liable for, any amounts payable in respect of Securities or Approved Investments if such Securities or Approved Investments are in default, or if payment is refused after due demand and presentation.

  • Securities, Collateral and Approved Investments deposited in the Book-Entry System or a Depository will be commingled in accounts which include assets held by BTC for customers, including but not limited to accounts in which BTC acts in a fiduciary or agency capacity, as well as assets held by or on behalf of other clients or participants of the Book-Entry System or Depository.

  • BTC shall be under no obligation or duty to take action to effect collection from the issuer of any amounts payable in respect of Securities or Approved Investments if the issuer of such Securities or Approved Investments is in default, or if payment is refused after due demand and presentation.


More Definitions of Approved Investments

Approved Investments shall have the meaning specified in Section 3.2.3.
Approved Investments. _"Approved Investments"): (i) United States Treasury obligations, (ii) United States Treasury-backed repurchase agreements issued by a major national money center banking institution reasonably acceptable to Seller, or (iii) such other manner as may be reasonably agreed to by Seller and Buyer. The Escrow Deposit shall be disposed of by Escrow Holder only as provided in this Agreement. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein the Escrow Holder shall not be obligated or entitled to cash the Buyer's check for the Additional Escrow Deposit until such time as the Closing occurs or Seller notifies Escrow Holder and Buyer that Seller believes in its good faith discretion that it is entitled to received the Escrow Deposit pursuant to the terms hereof. In the event that pursuant to the terms hereof Buyer is entitled to the return of the Escrow Deposit, Buyer's check for the Additional Escrow Deposit shall be returned to Buyer uncashed.
Approved Investments means (a) cash, (b) Cash Equivalents, (c) any asset that is (i) listed on a national securities exchange or (ii) actively traded in the over-the-counter-market, in each case, of a Person with a market capitalization of at $500,000,000 on each trading day in the preceding 60 day period prior to such date or (d) any other assets listed under the headingsLiquid Securities”, “Current Income Portfolio” and “Current Portion of Accounts Receivableas of the Closing Date in the personal financial statements of the Individual Guarantor referenced in Section 1(d) and similar assets that are invested in going forward under substantially similar investment strategies that are consistent with past practice.
Approved Investments means a federally insured money market account or such other investment option as Seller and Purchaser shall mutually agree upon, and allowing for withdrawal upon demand. Escrowee is authorized to sell or otherwise realize upon such investments at any time and from time to time when funds are required for the purposes of this Agreement.
Approved Investments means such investments as the Central Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, specify as approved investments for the purposes of this Act ;
Approved Investments means proposed investments that have moved through NYGB’s transaction process – from proposal submission, evaluation, structuring/diligence/negotiation, agreement in principle, to vetting by the IRC and approval by NYSERDA’s President & CEO after considering recommendations made by IRC members. Approved Investments represent an allocation of NYGB’s capital in accordance with the terms of the IRC approval– an interim stage before “Committed Funds” or “Deployed Funds”. Once an Approved Investment has been fully negotiated and executed, it becomes “Committed” and/or “Deployed” and no longer represents a current Approved Investment. Equally, if an Approved Investment becomes dormant for any reason for a continuous period of one year prior to being fully negotiated and executed and at the end of that period the probability of that investment moving forward towards execution is regarded as low, it may also be removed from the category of Approved Investments. In that event, all capital amounts corresponding to that investment are released and available for other NYGB investments.
Approved Investments means Investments made as per Regulation 3 (a) and (b) read with Schedule I and Schedule II of this regulation.
