Authorized state definition

Authorized state means a state that has been authorized by EPA under 42 USC 6926, and federal regulations promulgated under that section of the resource conservation and recovery act into Title 40, Part 271 of the Code of Federal Regulations, to administer a state hazardous waste program in place of all or part of the federal hazardous waste program in that state.
Authorized state is added and means a state that has been authorized in accordance with title 40 Code of Federal Regulations part 745, subpart Q, to administer and enforce sections 745.225, 745.226, and 745.227.
Authorized state means each state as of the Closing Date in which the Company holds an Insurance License.
