All patient care Staff must have current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
The student is expected to maintain a knowledge of and comply with School of Medicine policies related to immunizations, BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), TB testing and TB mask fitting, needle sticks injury and prevention, workers compensation, drug screening, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and universal precautions/OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) requirements.
