CARES Funds definition

CARES Funds means any and all economic or other relief available under the CARES Act and any related programs, including, without limitation, certain public health and social services emergency funds established pursuant to, and in connection with, the CARES Act, modifications to certain Medicare and Medicaid provisions, amendments to Title VII of the Public Health Services Act, and any expanded coverage and reimbursement for diagnostic testing relating to COVID-19.

Examples of CARES Funds in a sentence

  • The Company Group has utilized or maintained all such CARES Funds received by them in accordance with all applicable Laws.

  • Notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement to the contrary, County may withhold, in whole or in part, payment to the extent necessary to ensure utilization of CARES Funds in accordance with this Agreement, applicable law, and the CARES Act.

  • All financial obligations of County under this Agreement are subject to the availability of CARES Funds, as more specifically described herein.

  • The Subrecipient shall ensure that the CARES Funds requests are necessary and eligible Reimbursements under one of the following cost categories: a) medical expenses, b) public Health, c) payroll expenses, d) expenses of actions to facilitate compliance with COVID-19 public health measures, e) expenses associated with the provision of economic support, or f) any other COVID-19 related expense necessary to the function of government that satisfy the Reimbursement eligibility criteria.

  • County’s obligations under this Agreement are subject to the availability of CARES Funds.

  • The Company Group has maintained accounting records associated with the CARES Funds in compliance with all of the terms and conditions of such programs.

  • Any refund or repayment of a grant or loan, in whole or in part, made by Municipality to any recipient or borrower using CARES Funds must be transferred to County promptly, but no later than fifteen (15) business days after receipt by Municipality of the repayment from the recipient or borrower of the grant or loan.

  • Unless Municipality is required to complete an audit under 2 C.F.R. Part 200, on or before July 1, 2021, Municipality must submit an audited financial report identifying all CARES Funds received under this Agreement (“Final Report”).
