Cash Severance definition

Cash Severance means the Cash Salary Severance and, with respect to a CIC Termination, the Incentive Compensation Severance, determined in accordance with Exhibit A or Exhibit B attached hereto, as applicable.
Cash Severance means a lump-sum cash payment equal to (1) for an Employee in the Gold Benefit Category, one hundred and fifty percent (150%) of the sum of the Employee’s Salary and Bonus Target, (2) for an Employee in the Silver Benefit Category, one hundred and fifty percent (150%) of the sum of the Employee’s Salary and Bonus Target, and (3) for an Employee in the Bronze Benefit Category, one hundred percent (100%) of the sum of the Employee’s Salary and Bonus Target.
Cash Severance means the amount specified in Section 5(a) or Section 5(c), as applicable.

Examples of Cash Severance in a sentence

  • The Cash Severance will be paid in equal installments over a period of twelve (12) months, less all required tax withholdings and other applicable deductions, which will be paid in accordance with the Company’s regular payroll procedures commencing on the Release Deadline (as defined in Section 7(a)); provided that the first payment shall include any amounts that would have been paid to Executive if payment had commenced on the date of Executive’s separation from service.

  • So long as the Change of Control constitutes a “change in control event within the meaning of Section 409A (a “409A CIC”), the CIC Cash Severance will be paid in a single lump sum on the Release Deadline (as defined in Section 7(a)), less all required tax withholdings and other applicable deductions, in accordance with the Company’s regular payroll procedures and, to the extent required to avoid taxes under Section 409A, otherwise shall be paid in accordance with Section 6(a)(ii).

  • The Cash Severance shall be paid in equal cash installments in accordance with the Company’s usual payroll practices over the two (2) year period following Executive’s termination date with the initial payment to be made on the first regular payroll date of the Company occurring on or after sixty (60) days following Executive’s Date of Termination.


More Definitions of Cash Severance

Cash Severance means the sum of the Base Salary Amount and the Bonus Amount as described in Section 5.
Cash Severance means an amount that is based on the Participant’s Base Compensation determined in accordance with Exhibit A attached hereto.

Cash Severance means, with respect to any Participant, an amount equal to the product of (x) the sum of (i) the Participant’s Annual Base Salary plus (ii) the Participant’s Average Bonus, multiplied by (y) in the event that the Participant experiences a Qualifying Termination other than a CIC Termination, the Participant’s Qualifying Termination Cash Severance Multiple, or, in the event that the Participant experiences a CIC Termination, the Participant’s CIC Termination Cash Severance Multiple.
Cash Severance shall have the meaning provided in Section 2.1(a) hereof.
