CGN definition

CGN means a Global Bearer Security in classic global note form.
CGN means a temporary Global Note in the form set out in Part A of Schedule 1 or a permanent Global Note in the form set out in Part B of Schedule 1;

Examples of CGN in a sentence

  • If the Global Note is a CGN, a record of each payment so made will be endorsed on each Global Note, which endorsement will be prima facie evidence that such payment has been made in respect of the Notes.

  • The ETP Securities may be issued in bearer form (including in new global note form ("NGN") and in classic global note form ("CGN") and serially numbered ("Bearer Securities", which expression includes ETP Securities which are specified to be Exchangeable Bearer Securities), in registered form ("Registered Securities"), in bearer form exchangeable for Registered Securities ("Exchangeable Bearer Securities"), in each case in the Denomination(s) and Relevant Currency specified in the Final Terms.

  • If the Global Note is a CGN, on or after any due date for exchange, the holder of a Global Note may surrender such Global Note or, in the case of a partial exchange, present it for endorsement to or to the order of the Issuing and Paying Agent.

  • All payments in respect of Notes represented by a Global Note in CGN form will be made against presentation for endorsement and, if no further payment falls to be made in respect of the Notes, surrender of that Global Note to or to the order of the Issuing and Paying Agent or such other Paying Agent as shall have been notified to the Noteholders for such purpose.

  • If the Global Instrument is a CGN, a record of each payment so made will be endorsed on each Global Instrument, which endorsement will be prima facie evidence that such payment has been made in respect of the Instruments.


More Definitions of CGN

CGN means a Temporary Bearer Global Note in the form set out in Part 1 of Schedule 2 of the Trust Deed or a Permanent Bearer Global Note in the form set out in Part 2 of Schedule 2 of the Trust Deed, in either case where the applicable Final Terms specify that the Notes are not in New Global Note form;
CGN means a Temporary Global Note being in the form or substantially in the form set out in Appendix B-1 hereto or a Permanent Global Note being in the form or substantially in the form set out in Appendix B-2 hereto and in either case in respect of which the applicable Final Terms indicate it is not a New Global Note;
CGN means a temporary Global Instrument in the form set out in Part A of Schedule 1 or a permanent Global Instrument in the form set out in Part B of Schedule 1.
CGN means a temporary Global Note in the form set out in Part A of Schedule 1 (Form of CGN Temporary Global Note) or a permanent Global Note in the form set out in Part B of Schedule 1 (Form of CGN Permanent Global Note).
CGN means a Temporary Global Note in the form set out in the First Schedule to the Issue and Paying Agency Agreement or a Permanent Global Note in the form set out in the Second Schedule to the Issue and Paying Agency Agreement, in either case where the applicable Terms Document specifies the Notes are not in New Global Note form;
