It commits government to implement “National Climate Change Response Strategy” which would include mainstreaming of tradition early warning and mitigation systems, identification of priorities for climate adaptation and mitigation with specific measures for vulnerable groups, awareness creation, conducting of periodic climate change threat and risk assessments and their mitigation as well as research and development in the area.
