Classification Competencies definition

Classification Competencies means the units of competence as defined in the National Transport and Logistics Industry Skills Council for Rail Transport (as amended from time to time), under the Australian Quality framework.

  • Cultural Competence or "culturally competent" means the ability to recognize and respond to health-related beliefs and cultur- al values, disease incidence and prevalence, and treatment efficacy. Examples of culturally competent care include striving to overcome cultural, language, and communications barriers, providing an environ- ment in which individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds feel com- fortable discussing their cultural health beliefs and practices in the context of negotiating treatment options, encouraging individuals to express their spiritual beliefs and cultural practices, and being fa- miliar with and respectful of various traditional healing systems and beliefs and, where appropriate, integrating these approaches into treatment plans.

  • Cultural Competency means the ability to recognize, respect, and address the unique needs, worth, thoughts, communications, actions, customs, beliefs and values that reflect an individual’s racial, ethnic, religious, sexual orientation, and/or social group.

  • Classification Seniority means the length of service in the classification, calculated from the date the employee enters the classification.

These staff or personnel matters include, but are not limited to, such areas as selection, promotion, appraisal, discipline, transfer, staffing needs, work methods, changes in terms and conditions of employment, grievances, or the interpretation and administration of the applicable Collective Agreement. “Supervisors” includes employees in other employee classifications who perform supervisory functions.

  • Severity Level means the actual impact of a Defect on a user’s operational environment as further described in the table below.

  • Corrective Measure means a measure as defined in Article 3, point 16, of Regulation (EU) 2019/1020;

  • Preventive measures means any reasonable measures taken by any person after an incident has occurred to prevent or minimize pollution damage.

  • Continuing competence means a requirement, as a condition of license renewal, to provide evidence of participation in, and/or completion of, educational and professional activities relevant to practice or area of work.

  • Moody’s Industry Classification means the industry classifications set forth in Schedule 4 hereto, as such industry classifications shall be updated at the option of the Servicer if Moody’s publishes revised industry classifications. The determination of which Moody’s Industry Classification to which an Obligor belongs shall be made in good faith by the Servicer.

  • Barrier Level means the Barrier Level as specified in § 1 of the Product and Underlying Data.

  • Industry Classification Group means (a) any of the classification groups set forth in Schedule 1.01(c) hereto, together with any such classification groups that may be subsequently established by Moody’s and provided by the Borrower to the Lenders, and (b) up to three additional industry group classifications established by the Borrower pursuant to Section 5.12.

  • Vehicle measuring attitude means the position of the vehicle as defined by the co-ordinates of fiducial marks in the three-dimensional reference system.

  • Qualifying Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) means either (i) standard gas or electric EEMs (i.e., measures found on any of the Standard Initiative applications); or (ii) measures eligible under the Custom Initiative approved by Ameren Illinois; or (iii) measures found in the Streetlighting or Retro-commissioning Initiative as identified in official program materials found on the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency website. The following technologies are not Qualifying EEMs: (i) technologies that do not demonstrate measurable and verifiable energy savings, including power conditioning; (ii) technologies that displace electrical energy use or natural gas to another fuel (i.e. fuel switching); or (iii) renewable energy projects (solar, wind power, etc.). Eligible gas measures do not include propane or butane measures.
