Classified Seniority definition

Classified Seniority years of actual service within a particular classification within the Wapakoneta City School District. Calculated from first day worked in bargaining unit classification.
Classified Seniority shall be the date on which the employee was placed into the classification, and shall be the date used as the seniority date for promotions within that Occupational Group.

  • Classified service means all employment positions in the City that are not excluded by ordinance, City Charter or State law from the provisions of Seattle Municipal Code Chapter 4.04 or the Personnel Rules adopted pursuant thereto.

  • Classification Seniority means the length of service in the classification, calculated from the date the employee enters the classification.

  • Eligible patient means an individual who meets all of the following conditions:

  • Nurse Educator means a registered nurse with a post registration certificate, who has relevant experience or other qualifications, deemed appropriate by the employer who is appointed to a position of Nurse Educator.

  • Bargaining Unit Seniority is defined as the length of continuous service within the bargaining unit since the last date of entry into the bargaining unit.

  • Medical facility means any physician, laboratory, clinic, hospital, or other similar entity.

  • Participating Certified Nurse-Midwife means a Certified Nurse-Midwife who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Classified employee means an employee in the classified service, or an employee currently on leave from the classified service in accordance with established Merit Rules governing leave.

  • Intermittent means care that is to be rendered because of a medically predictable recurring need for skilled home health care. “Skilled home health care” means reasonable and necessary care for the treatment of an illness or injury which requires the skill of a nurse or therapist, based on the complexity of the service and the condition of the patient and which is performed directly by an appropriately licensed professional provider. Home health care requires Preauthorization.

  • Developmentally disabled person means a person who has a disability defined in RCW 71A.10.020. RCW 26.44.020

  • Skilled Nursing Facility means an institution or part thereof that is licensed as a Skilled Nursing Facility by the State of Florida, and is accredited as a Skilled Nursing Facility by The Joint Commission or recognized as a Skilled Nursing Facility by the Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States under Medicare.

Educational facility does not include items as books, fuel, supplies, or other items the costs of which are customarily deemed to result in a current operating charge and does not include any facility used or to be used for sectarian instruction or as a place of religious worship, nor a facility which is used or to be used primarily in connection with a part of the program of a school or department of divinity for a religious denomination.
