COBRA Continuee definition

COBRA Continuee means any person who was insured under this Policy whose coverage is being continued in accordance with the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA).
COBRA Continuee means each of the employees set forth on Schedule 7.3(e).
COBRA Continuee means a Covered Unit that elects to extend its group health coverage under the Plan as entitled under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA). Company (WE, US, OUR) means American Fidelity Assurance Company. Covered Family means an employee and his or her dependents covered under the Plan.

Examples of COBRA Continuee in a sentence

  • Continental shall be responsible for providing continuation coverage as required by COBRA under a Continental Welfare Plan to any employee, officer, director, consultant, or agent of Continental, any Continental Affiliate, Holdings, and each Holdings Affiliate, and other qualified beneficiaries under COBRA with respect to such individuals, who have a COBRA qualifying event (due to termination of employment with any of the foregoing entities or otherwise) ("COBRA Continuee") prior to the IPO Date.

  • COBRA Continuation Period means the continuation period for medical and dental insurance to be provided under the terms of this Agreement which shall commence on the first day of the calendar month following the month in which the date of termination falls and generally shall continue for an 18 month period.

  • COBRA Continuation Coverage means the health care benefit continuation coverage mandated by the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act and similar provisions of state law.

  • COBRA Coverage means continuation coverage required under Section 4980B of the Code and Part 6 of Title I of ERISA.

  • COBRA Period means the period beginning on the Date of Termination and ending on the first anniversary thereof.

  • Dental means of or relating to the teeth and the work of a dentist.

  • Qualifying Employee means any employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries who is and has been an employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries for at least thirty-six (36) months.

  • Severance Term means the twenty-four (24) month period following Executive’s termination by the Company without Cause (other than by reason of death or Disability) or by Executive for Good Reason.

  • Senior Employee means a person having supervisory responsibility for at least ten (10) employees, and “founded allegation” shall include, but not be limited to a finding by an internal investigative process, an arbitrator or mediator, a governmental entity or tribunal authorized to investigate claims of sexual harassment, or a court of competent jurisdiction.

  • Health Plans means any and all individual and family health and hospitalization insurance and/or self-insurance plans, medical reimbursement plans, prescription drug plans, dental plans and other health and/or wellness plans.

  • Continuing Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.7(a).

  • Ongoing employee means an employee who has been employed for at least one complete standard measurement period.

  • Designated Employee means an employee who has been designated by the school to receive complaints of hazing, harassment and bullying pursuant to subdivision 16 V.S.A. 570a(a)(7). The designated employees for each school building are identified in Appendix A of this policy.

  • Consulting Period has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 14(f) hereof.

  • Post-Employment Period means the eighteen month period beginning on the date of termination of the Executive's employment with the Employer. If any covenant in this Section 8.2 is held to be unreasonable, arbitrary or against public policy, such covenant shall be considered to be divisible with respect to scope, time, and geographic area, and such lesser scope, time, or geographic area, or all of them as a court of competent jurisdiction may determine to be reasonable, not arbitrary, and not against public policy, shall be effective, binding, and enforceable against the Executive. The period of time applicable to any covenant in this Section 8.2 will be extended by the duration of any violation by the Executive of such covenant. The Executive shall, while the covenant under this Section 8.2 is in effect, give notice to the Employer, within ten days after accepting any other employment, of the identify of the Executive's employer. The Employer may notify such employer that the Executive is bound by this Agreement and, at the Employer's election, furnish such employer with a copy of this Agreement or relevant portions thereof.

  • Benefit Period means the period of time from the date of the Accident causing the Injury for which benefits are payable, as shown in the Schedule of Benefits, and the date after which no further benefits will be paid.

  • Severance Date means the date on which an Executive incurs a Severance, which shall be the date of termination as determined under Section 5.2.

  • Transferred Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.01(a).

  • Supervisory employee means an employee, regardless of job description, having authority in the interest of the employer to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline other employees, or the responsibility to assign work to and direct them, or to adjust their grievances, or effectively recommend that action, if, in connection with the foregoing functions, the exercise of that authority is not of a merely routine or clerical nature, but requires the use of independent judgment.

  • Disability retirement for plan 1 members, means the period

  • Benefit Continuation Period means the period beginning on the Date of Termination and ending on the last day of the month in which occurs the earlier of (i) the 24-month anniversary of the Date of Termination and (ii) the date on which you elect coverage for you and your covered dependents under substantially comparable benefit plans of a subsequent employer.

  • Self-employed INDIVIDUAL Means an individual who has Earned Income for the taxable year from the trade or business for which the Plan is established; also, an individual who would have had Earned Income but for the fact that the trade or business had no net profits for the taxable year.
