Code of Operations definition

Code of Operations or “Code” means the code of operations in respect of the BGE Group Transportation System approved by the Commission pursuant to Section 13 of the 2002 Act from time to time;
Code of Operations means, the code of operations required to be prepared by the holder of a natural gas licence pursuant to Section 13(1) of the Act, and approved by the Commission, as from time to time revised, amended, supplemented or replaced with the approval or at the direction of the Commission;“customer”should, unless otherwise stated, be taken to refer to a final customer as defined in the Act;“distribution system”means a system made up of distribution pipelines (as specified by the Commission under the Act)or, as the context may require, the distribution system specified in Schedule 1 of the Licensee’s licence under Section 16(1)(d) of the Act;“Distribution System Operator Business”means the business (if any) of the Licensee and any affiliate or related undertaking of the Licensee consisting in the operation of a distribution system;“Distribution System Owner Business”means the business of the Licensee and any affiliate or related undertaking of the Licensee consisting in the ownership of a distribution system and includes its functions as such under the Regulations and the Operating Agreement;“distribution zone”means a geographical area of a distribution system encompassing one or more points at which natural gas is (or may in the future be) transferred from a transmission system to that distribution system and one or more associated points at which natural gas is offtaken from the distributionsystem by gas undertakings;

  • The Parties acknowledge that certain of the provisions of the Connected Systems Agreement will be specific to the RNG Entry Point anticipated to be declared at the Connection Point and shall incorporate such provisions as may be necessary to enable GNI obtain approval/acceptance of the Safety Case to include the Connection Point as an RNG Entry Point pursuant to the Code of Operations.

  • The Parties shall procure the Connected System Agreement is entered into in accordance with Clause 6.9 , it being acknowledged by the Company that RNG may not be delivered from the Delivery Facility to the Transportation System until such time as: the Connected System Agreement is executed and in effect; and the Connection Point has become an RNG Entry Point pursuant to the Code of Operations; and a Shipper is registered as a Shipper at the RNG Entry Point at the Connection Point.

  • It is acknowledged by the Company that nothing in this Agreement shall or shall be deemed to constitute a representation or a warranty by GNI that: the Connection Point shall or shall become an RNG Entry Point pursuant to the Code of Operations; and/or as to the amount of capacity which may be made available at any such RNG Entry Point.

  • Such changes shall have effect upon the date upon which the Legal Requirement or change in the Code of Operations, in question is brought into force with such transitional arrangements as shall be reasonable and as are in compliance with the new legislation, Directive, rule, regulation, direction, statutory instrument or order, or change in the Code of Operations referred to in Clause 26.1.


More Definitions of Code of Operations

Code of Operations means the code of practice for the operation of the BGE System which governs certain aspects of the relationship between BGE or its Affiliate and BGE Shippers;

Code of Operations or “Code” means the code of practice for the operation of the GNI System published pursuant to the provisions of the Gas (Interim) (Regulation) Xxx 0000 and the gas transmission licence issued by the CER and as modified from time to time with the approval of the CER;
Code of Operations means the Gas Networks Ireland Code of Operations (Version 4.0) effective from April 2005 for the operation of the Transportation System, which governs technical and operational issues relating to the Gas Networks Ireland transportation system as amended from time to time or any successor agreement approved by the Commission.
