Collectable Waste definition

Collectable Waste means those wastes which are eligible for collection, within the volume and other restrictions elsewhere in this by-law, on regularly-scheduled collection days and consists of the following categories:
Collectable Waste means material originating from eligible premises and placed for collection by the owner or occupant and includes, but is not limited to, residual waste, recyclable materials, and organic materials that are subject to sorting requirements, volumes and restrictions located elsewhere in this Bylaw, on regularly scheduled collection days.
Collectable Waste means Waste which may be collected pursuant to this By-law.

More Definitions of Collectable Waste

Collectable Waste means garbage, recyclable material and yard waste each of which individually constitutes a type of Collectable Waste, but shall not include Non-Collectable Waste, or Bulky Items.
Collectable Waste means Waste, including Garbage, Recycling, Organics, Yard Waste, Christmas Trees and Special Waste which may be collected pursuant to this By-law.
Collectable Waste means and includes solid waste as distinguished from liquid waste, sewage and gas wastes, smoke and industrial fumes and shall include animal and vegetable waste resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and serving of food, market refuse and waste from handling, storage and sale of produce; both combustible and non-combustible waste consisting of tin, metals, mineral matter, glass, crockery, dust, metal, furniture, paper, rags, cartons, boxes, wood, bedding, rubber, leather, tree branches, Christmas trees, grass cuttings and yard trimmings.

  • Trade waste means any solid, liquid, or gaseous waste material or rubbish resulting from construction, land clearing for construction or development, building operations, or the prosecution of any business, trade, or industry including, but not necessarily limited to, plastic products, cartons, paint, grease, oil and other petroleum products, chemicals or cinders.

  • Medical Waste means isolation wastes, infectious agents, human blood and blood products, pathological wastes, sharps, body parts, contaminated bedding, surgical wastes, potentially contaminated laboratory wastes, and dialysis wastes.

  • Yard waste means leaves, grass clippings, yard and garden debris and brush, including clean woody vegetative material no greater than 6 inches in diameter. This term does not include stumps, roots or shrubs with intact root balls.

  • inert waste means waste that—

  • Wood waste means untreated wood and untreated wood products, including tree stumps (whole or chipped), trees, tree limbs (whole or chipped), bark, sawdust, chips, scraps, slabs, millings, and shavings.

  • Residual Waste means low-level radioactive waste resulting from processing or decontamination activities that cannot be easily separated into distinct batches attributable to specific waste generators. This waste is attributable to the processor or decontamination facility, as applicable.

  • Waste means any waste material (1) containing byproduct material and (2) resulting from the operation by any person or organization of any nuclear facility included within the definition of nuclear facility under paragraph (a) or (b) thereof; “nuclear facility” means

  • PAL pollutant means the pollutant for which a PAL is established at a major stationary source.

  • Regulated air pollutant means the following:

  • Radioactive waste means radioactive waste as defined in Article 3(7) of Council Directive 2011/70/Euratom8;

  • Food Waste means waste food that is household waste or, as the case may be, commercial waste, and shall have the same meaning as that applying to Regulation 7 of the Waste Management (Food Waste) Regulations 2009 (SI 508 of 2009) or, as the case may be, to Regulation 6 of the European Union (Household Food Waste and Bio-Waste) Regulations 2015 (SI 430 of 2015);

  • Air pollutant , which means any solid, liquid or gaseous substance (including noise) present in the atmosphere in such concentration as may be or tend to be injurious to human beings or other living creatures or plants or property or environment.

  • Industrial waste means any liquid, gaseous, radioactive, or solid waste substance resulting from any process of industry, manufacturing, trade, or business or from the development of any natural resource.
