Commencement of the Works definition

Commencement of the Works means the date on which the first vessel arrives on the Site to begin carrying on any Licensed Activity in connection with the Works, as described in Part 2 of this licence;
Commencement of the Works means the date on which the first construction activity occurs in accordance with the EIA Report submitted by the Applicant on 20 January 2023;
Commencement of the Works means the date on which the first vessel arrives on the Site to begin carrying on any Licensed Activity in connection with the construction of the Works (including the deployment of single turbines, deployment of associated infrastructure and the movement and redeployment of turbines and associated infrastructure),as described in Part 2 of this licence. ;

Examples of Commencement of the Works in a sentence

  • Commencement of the Works cannot take place until such approval is granted.

  • Any changes to the types of chemicals which are proposed to be utilised must be consulted on with the Licensing Authority before the Commencement of the Works or; as the case may be, after the Commencement of the Works but prior to their utilisation.

  • The Licensee must submit a report of all chemicals and quantities to be used (e.g. oils and fluorinated gases) during the construction and operation of the works to the Licensing Authority no later than one calendar month prior to the Commencement of the Works.

  • Commencement of the Works must not occur until the Licensing Authority has given its written approval to the MPCP.

  • Prior to the Commencement of the Works the Licensee must agree with the Licensing Authority, in writing, the details of the appointment of a Marine Mammal Observer (“MMO”).

  • The Licensee must, as soon as reasonably practicable prior to Commencement of the Works, notify the UK Hydrographic Office (“UKHO”) of the proposed works to facilitate the promulgation of maritime safety information and updating of nautical charts and publications through the national Notice to Mariners system.

  • The Licensee must ensure that details of the Works are promulgated in the Kingfisher Fortnightly Bulletin, prior to the Commencement of the Works to inform the Sea Fish Industry of the vessel routes, the timings and the location of the Works and of the relevant operations.

  • The Licensee must, no later than 6 months or at such a time as agreed with the Licensing Authority, prior to the Commencement of the Works, submit an OMP, in writing, to the Licensing Authority for their written approval.

  • The Licensee must, no later than six months prior to the Commencement of the Works, submit a CaP, in writing, to the Licensing Authority for its written approval.

  • The Licensee must, prior to and no less than 7 days before the Commencement of the Works, notify the Licensing Authority, in writing, of the date of Commencement of the Works authorised under this Licence.


More Definitions of Commencement of the Works

Commencement of the Works means the date specified in the Engineer’s Notice of Approval to the Contractor to start the execution of the Works pursuant to the provisions of Clause 41.1;
Commencement of the Works means the date on which the first construction activity occurs in accordance with the EIA Report submitted by the Company on 11 August;
Commencement of the Works means the date on which the first vessel arrives on the Site to begin carrying on any Licensed Activities in connection with the construction of the Works. Define in the offshore consents.

Related to Commencement of the Works

  • Date of commencement of the project means the date of the agreement.

  • Commencement of Development means the date on which any material operation (as defined in Section 56(4) of the Act) forming part of the Development begins to be carried out other than (for the purposes of this Deed and for no other purpose) operations consisting of site clearance, demolition work, archaeological investigations, investigations for the purpose of assessing ground conditions, remedial work in respect of any contamination or other adverse ground conditions, diversion and laying of services, erection of any temporary means of enclosure, the temporary display of site notices or advertisements and “Commence Development” shall be construed accordingly.

  • Construction Commencement Date means the date set out in the Addendum, if applicable, by which you must commence construction of the Hotel. For the Hotel to be considered under construction, youmust have begun to pour concrete foundations for the Hotel or otherwise satisfied any site-specific criteria for “under construction” set out in the Addendum.

  • Service Commencement Date means the date the Transmission Provider begins to provide service pursuant to the terms of an executed Service Agreement, or the date the Transmission Provider begins to provide service in accordance with Tariff, Part II, section 15.3 or Tariff, Part III, section 29.1.

  • Commencement of Commercial Production means: (i) if a mill is located on the Property, the last day of a period of 40 consecutive days in which, for not less than 30 days, the mill processed ore from the Property at 60% of its rated concentrating capacity; or (ii) if a mill is not located on the Property, the last day of a period of 30 consecutive days during which ore has been shipped from the Property on a reasonably regular basis for the purpose of earning revenues, but any period of time during which ore or concentrate is shipped from the Property for testing purposes, or during which milling operations are undertaken as initial tune-up, shall not be taken into account in determining the date of Commencement of Commercial Production;

  • Commencement of Foreclosure The first official action required under local law in order to commence foreclosure proceedings or to schedule a trustee's sale under a deed of trust, including (i) in the case of a mortgage, any filing or service of process necessary to commence an action to foreclose, or (ii) in the case of a deed of trust, posting, the publishing, filing or delivery of a notice of sale, but not including in either case (x) any notice of default, notice of intent to foreclose or sell or any other action prerequisite to the actions specified in (i) or (ii) above, (y) the acceptance of a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure (whether in connection with a sale of the related property or otherwise) or (z) initiation and completion of a short pay-off.

  • The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Commencement Date means the date of this Agreement;

  • Demolition works means any physical activity to tear down or break up a structure (or part thereof) or surface, or the like, and includes the loading of demolition waste and the unloading of plant or machinery.

  • Cost of the Work means those costs described in Paragraph 11.2.

  • Services Commencement Date means the date delivery of the Services shall commence as specified in the Key Provisions. If no date is specified in the Key Provisions this date shall be the Commencement Date;

  • Employment Commencement Date means the date on which the Employee first performs an Hour of Service.

  • The Works means the work or works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Project Commencement Date means the commencement date notified to the Minister pursuant to clause 4(1);

  • Home improvement means the remodeling, altering,

  • Construction Works means all works and things necessary to complete the Project in accordance with this Agreement;

  • Installation Works means, as the context so requires,

  • Pre commencement condition means a condition imposed on the grant of permission which must be complied with: before any building/ other operation/ or use of the land comprised in the development is begun.

  • Excavation work means the making of any man-made cavity, trench, pit or depression formed by cutting, digging or scooping;

  • Commencement Time means the time stated in the Engagement Documents by which the Supplier is required to commence performing its obligations under the Contract (or where no time is stated, promptly after the Supplier receives the Engagement Documents) as extended (if at all) pursuant to the Contract;

  • Construction Period means the period commencing from the Appointed Date and ending on the date of the Completion Certificate;

  • the commencement date means the date on which the Contract shall take effect, as notified by the Authority to the Contractor in a letter awarding the Contract.

  • Expansion means the addition of buildings, structures, machinery or equipment for purposes of increasing production capacity.

  • Home improvement contractor or "contractor" means a person who sells goods and services, or agrees to furnish or render services, to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement installment contract, or sells goods and services to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement charge agreement, but not in connection with construction of new homes.

  • Commencement Date of the Contract means the date of signing of the Contract between the Purchaser and the Contractor.

  • The Work means the work or works to be executed or done under this contract.
