Commercial Use Vehicle definition

Commercial Use Vehicle means Vehicles used for business, deliveries, construction, or commercial hauling. • Consumer, Customer, You and Your (Contract Holder) means the person who is listed in the “Contract Holder Information” section on the Registration page.
Commercial Use Vehicle means utilization of the Covered Vehicle for any commercial purpose. A vehicle registered as commercial to a business or covered by a commercial Primary Insurance policy shall be deemed commercial. Vehicles used for competitive driving, racing, off-road use, hire to the public, livery, delivery services, rental, pool vehicles, emergency vehicles or if equipped or identified as a snow plow are deemed commercial. Trailers, special commercial optional equipment, accessories and body components are not covered. Covered Vehicle means the motor home or trailer listed on the first page of this Addendum, including all options and equipment, that is the subject of the Finance Agreement.
Commercial Use Vehicle a Vehicle used by, for, or in a business such as rental, delivery, hauling for hire, livery, farming, police or emergency services. COVERAGE, COVERAGES: the benefits described in the Coverages section of this Agreement. COVERED FAILURE: a failure of Your Vehicle’s tire or rim caused by a Road Hazard, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and excluding any conditions listed in the Exclusion Section of this Agreement, which renders Your tire or rim to be Unserviceable as described herein. DEALER: the Dealership that sold You this Agreement as shown in the Declarations. DECLARATIONS: that portion of the Agreement with information about the Customer, the Dealer, the Lienholder, the Agreement and the Vehicle. EFFECTIVE DATE: the date coverage under this Agreement begins. The day You purchased the Vehicle and this Agreement is the Effective Date. EXCLUSIONS: the components, conditions, events and circumstances (uses and activities) listed in the Exclusions section, for which no coverage will be afforded under this Agreement. MANUFACTURER’S or DISTRIBUTOR’S WARRANTY: the Warranty which comes, from the Manufacturer or Distributor, with the Vehicle, at no charge to the Customer. PRE-EXISTING CONDITION(S): conditions or damage to tires or rims which were present on the Vehicle Sale Date and the Agreement Effective Date. ROAD HAZARD: a hazard that is encountered while driving Your Vehicle, on a public roadway, such as a pothole, nail, glass, rocks or other road debris. Curbs and medians are not considered to be Road Hazards. UNSERVICEABLE: means that the tire has been punctured or otherwise damaged to the extent that it is unsafe, or that a wheel will no longer hold a seal with its tire.

  • All motor vehicles operated or parked on State Park lands and used for commercial activities shall be identified by a numbered Commercial Use Vehicle decal.

A commercial motor vehicle transporting an empty storage container tank not designed for transportation with a rated capacity of one thousand gallons or more that is temporarily attached to a flatbed trailer is not considered a tank vehicle.

  • Transit vehicle means a bus, rapid transit vehicle, railroad car, street railway car, water vehicle, taxicab, or other type of public transportation vehicle or individual unit, whether operated singly or in a group that provides public transportation.

  • passenger vehicle means a motor vehicle (other than a motor cycle or invalid carriage) constructed solely for the carriage of passengers and their effects and adapted to carry not more than twelve passengers exclusive of the driver, and not drawing a trailer;

  • Salvage vehicle means any vehicle which is within the last ten (10) model years and which has been damaged by collision or other occurrence to the extent that the cost of repairing the vehicle for safe operation on the highway exceeds sixty percent (60%) of its fair market value, as defined by Section 1111 of this title, immediately prior to the damage. For purposes of this section, actual repair costs shall only include labor and parts for actual damage to the suspension, motor, transmission, frame or unibody and designated structural components;

  • Motorized Vehicle means a passenger car, station wagon, van, jeep-type automobile, truck, ambulance or any type of motorized vehicle used by municipal, provincial or federal police forces.

  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicle ("UAV") (9) means any aircraft capable of initiating flight and sustaining controlled flight and navigation without any human presence on board.

  • Off-Road Vehicle means any vehicle while it is being operated on a road not maintained by a federal, provincial, state, or local agency, not including entrance or departure ways to private property, or any vehicle which cannot be licensed to drive on a public road and is designed and manufactured primarily for off-road usage.

  • School vehicle means any school bus, school van, other school vehicle and private vehicle used to transport students or staff members to and from school or any school-sponsored activity or event.

  • Nonroad Vehicle means a vehicle that is powered by a Nonroad Engine, fifty horsepower and greater, and that is not a Motor Vehicle or a vehicle used solely for competition, which shall include, but not be limited to, excavators, backhoes, cranes, compressors, generators, bulldozers and similar equipment, except that this terms shall not apply to horticultural maintenance vehicles used for landscaping purposes that are powered by a Nonroad Engine of sixty-five horsepower or less and that are not used in any construction program or project.

  • Residential Uses means lands, Buildings or structures or portions thereof used, or designed or intended for use as a home or residence of one or more individuals, and shall include Single Detached Dwelling, Semi-Detached Dwelling, Multiple Dwelling, Apartment Dwelling, and the residential portion of a mixed-use Building or structure;

  • Gross vehicle weight means the weight of a vehicle without load plus the weight of any load on the

  • goods vehicle means a motor vehicle constructed or adapted for use for the carriage of goods or burden of any description or a trailer so constructed or adapted;

  • Off-highway vehicle means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-22-2.

  • Medium-duty vehicle or “MDV” means any pre-1995 model year heavy-duty vehicle having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of 8,500 pounds or less; any 1992 through 2006 model-year heavy-duty low-emission, ultra-low-emission, super-ultra-low-emission or zero-emission vehicle certified to the standards in Section E.1.1.1, or in title 13, CCR, section 1962, having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of 14,000 pounds or less; any 1995 through 2002 model year heavy-duty vehicle certified to the Tier 1 standards in Section E.1.1.1 having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of 14,000 pounds or less; and any 2000 and subsequent model heavy-duty low-emission, ultra-low-emission, super-ultra-low-emission or zero-emission vehicle certified to the standards in Section E.1.1.2, or in title 13, CCR, section 1962, having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating between 8,501 and 14,000 pounds.
