Commercial Use Vehicle definition

Commercial Use Vehicle means Vehicles used for business, deliveries, construction, or commercial hauling. • Consumer, Customer, You and Your (Contract Holder) means the person who is listed in the “Contract Holder Information” section on the Registration page.

Commercial Use Vehicle. A Commercial Use Vehicle is defined as a vehicle registered to a business and/or for business purposes. Vehicles that are used in excess of manufacturer’s G.V.W. Vehicles used for construction purposes, delivery purposes, commercial towing, commercial farm operation, tow trucks, any type of emergency vehicles, volunteer public service(s), motor pool vehicles, rental, taxi cabs, livery or for excessive hauling and pulling are excluded from coverage hereunder. (This does not include Rideshare e.g. Uber or Lyft.) COVERED PART: The eligible parts listed in the Schedule of Coverages section of this Agreement. The listed parts must be factory installed equipment on Your Vehicle or replacement parts meeting the manufacturer’s specifications. DEDUCTIBLE: The amount indicated on the Schedule Page that You must pay for the repair of a Breakdown. A Deductible does not apply to roadside assistance, substitute transportation, or trip interruption coverage. $100 DEDUCTIBLE WILL APPLY IF NO DEDUCTIBLE IS NOTED. DISAPPEARING DEDUCTIBLE: If this option is selected on the Schedule Page, Your Deductible is waived in its entirety if You return to the original Seller listed on Your Agreement for repair of a Breakdown.

Commercial Use Vehicle a Vehicle used by, for, or in a business such as rental, delivery, hauling for hire, livery, farming, police or emergency services. COVERAGE, COVERAGES: the benefits described in the Coverages section of this Agreement. COVERED FAILURE: a failure of Your Vehicle’s tire or rim caused by a Road Hazard, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and excluding any conditions listed in the Exclusion Section of this Agreement, which renders Your tire or rim to be Unserviceable as described herein. DEALER: the Dealership that sold You this Agreement as shown in the Declarations. ROAD HAZARD: a hazard that is encountered while driving Your Vehicle, on a public roadway, such as a pothole, nail, glass, rocks or other road debris. Curbs and medians are not considered to be Road Hazards. UNSERVICEABLE: means that the tire has been punctured or otherwise damaged to the extent that it is unsafe, or that a wheel will no longer hold a seal with its tire.

Examples of Commercial Use Vehicle in a sentence

  • All motor vehicles operated or parked on State Park lands and used for commercial activities shall be identified by a numbered Commercial Use Vehicle decal.

Commercial Use Vehicle means utilization of the Covered Vehicle for any commercial purpose. A vehicle registered as commercial to a business or covered by a commercial Primary Insurance policy shall be deemed commercial. Vehicles used for competitive driving, racing, off-road use, hire to the public, livery, delivery services, rental, pool vehicles, emergency vehicles or if equipped or identified as a snow plow are deemed commercial. Trailers, special commercial optional equipment, accessories and body components are not covered. Covered Vehicle means the motor home or trailer listed on the first page of this Addendum, including all options and equipment, that is the subject of the Finance Agreement.
