Communicable Diseases definition

Communicable Diseases means an illness caused by an infectious agent which can be transmitted from one per- son, animal, or object to another person by direct or indirect means including transmission via an intermediate host or vector, food, water or air.
Communicable Diseases. We may disclose your protected health information, if authorized by law, to a person who may have been exposed to a communicable disease or may otherwise be at risk of contracting or spreading the disease or condition.
Communicable Diseases means diseases that can spread from person to person and includes ‘Listed Human Diseases’ as defined by the Biosecurity Act 2015 (Cth) (as amended).

More Definitions of Communicable Diseases

Communicable Diseases means the categories of disease listed in the Annex to Decision No 2119/98/EC;
Communicable Diseases means any disease which can be communicable directly or indirectly from one person to another person and as declared as such under the Public Health Act 19702;
Communicable Diseases means any airborne infection or disease, including, but not limited to, tuberculosis, measles, certain meningococcal infections, mumps, chicken pox and Hemophilus Influenzae Type b, and those transmitted by contact with blood or other human body fluids, including, but not limited to, human immunodeficiency virus, Hepatitis B and Non-A, Non-B Hepatitis.

Communicable Diseases means a contagious disease or illness arising out of or in any manner related to an infectious or biological virus or agent or its toxic products which is transmitted or spread, directly or indirectly, to a person from an infected person, plant, animal or anthropoid, or through the agency of an intermediate animal, host or vector of the inanimate environment or transmitted or spread by instrument or any other method of transmission. Communicable Disease shall include, but not be limited to, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) or Human Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV), Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), West Nile Disease, chicken pox, any type or strain of influenza (including but not limited to avian flu), legionella, hepatitis, measles, meningitis, mononucleosis, whooping cough, cholera, bubonic plagues and anthrax.
