More Definitions of Community Benefits

Community Benefits means the provision of programs or services that directly benefit Somerville residents including but not limited to human services, the arts, cultural enrichment, sustainability measures, public health, preventing and mitigating commercial and residential displacement, housing, educational programs focused on science, technology, engineering, and other areas of community enrichment.
Community Benefits means the unreimbursed cost to a hospital of providing charity care, government-sponsored indigent health care, donations, education, government-sponsored program services, research, and subsidized health services. Community benefits does not include the cost to the hospital of paying any taxes or other governmental assessments.
Community Benefits means those Public Benefits provided by the Project that are generally aligned with the goals and priorities identified in the MOU approved by the City Council, and that exceed the Base Requirements, and are not Project Features.
