Community Board Member definition

Community Board Member means a Board Member elected from the category of Community Members.
Community Board Member means a Board Member who is neither a Council Board Member nor a Customer Board Member and Community Board Members shall be individuals (including representatives of organisations, with the exception of the representative of the Council as a corporate body who will not be eligible for Board membership) who shall have the business, professional or technical knowledge, experience, skills or expertise complementary to, and be compatible with, the objects of the Company;
Community Board Member means a community member appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.

  • No Hospital Community Board Member shall simultaneously be a member of the Parent Corporation Board.

  • Any Hospital Community Board Member may resign at any time by giving notice to the Chairperson of the Hospital Community Board.

  • Except for the Hospital President, the Chief of the Medical Staff, and the Parent Corporation Member (as such term is defined in the Bylaws of the Corporation), no Hospital Community Board Member shall simultaneously be an employee of the Local Hospital or the Parent Corporation.
