Independent physician means a physician who is chosen by the resident of the assisted living facility and who has no financial interest in the assisted living facility, directly or indirectly, as an owner, officer, or employee or as an independent contractor with the residence.
Adverse Drug Experience means any of: an “adverse drug experience,” a “life-threatening adverse drug experience,” a “serious adverse drug experience,” or an “unexpected adverse drug experience,” as those terms are defined at either 21 C.F.R. § 312.32 or 21 C.F.R. § 314.80.

Pre-Licensed Psychologist means an individual who has obtained a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and is registered with the Board of Psychology as a registered Psychology Intern or Psychological Assistant, acquiring hours for licensing and waivered in accordance with Welfare and Institutions Code section 575.2.
