Consumer Guarantees definition

Consumer Guarantees means the guarantees set out in Division 1 of Part 3.2 of the Australian Consumer Law;
Consumer Guarantees means the guarantees relating to the supply of goods and services to consumers provided by Division 1 of Part 3-2 of the ACL;

Examples of Consumer Guarantees in a sentence

  • Where the Company supplies the goods to the customer for the customer’s use in a business for the purpose of the business, the customer agrees that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.

  • Where the Company supplies the product to a customer as a “consumer” as defined in the Consumer Guarantees Act for a non-business purpose, the Consumer Guarantees Act will apply and prevail over any contrary provision in these terms and conditions.

  • Despite anything else in this Agreement, the Trader is entitled to be indemnified by the Distributor as set out in section 46A of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
