County seniority definition

County seniority means the employee's seniority as defined in Article VIII, Section A - Seniority.
County seniority means length of service as measured by an employee's continuous service date. “Day” means calendar day.
County seniority is the length of an Employee’s continuous service with the County.

Examples of County seniority in a sentence

  • Time during which an employee receives workers' compensation temporary disability benefits shall be counted toward the computation of County seniority and determination of healthcare leave, vacation and annual leave earning rates.

  • Time during which an employee receives workers' compensation temporary disability benefits shall be counted toward the computation of County seniority and determination of sick leave, vacation or annual leave earning rates.

  • The nurse shall be provided a new date of hire for purposes of County seniority.

  • If there is no such vacancy, the employee shall be eligible to utilize County seniority to bump the least senior employee in their former classification in the county where the employee worked prior to the promotion.

  • Employees will be assigned to vacancies within their classification based on geographic preference by County seniority.

  • If there are vacancies to be filled that do not match employee preferences, then employees within that classification will be reassigned using inverse County seniority, unless other transfer/reassignment procedures have already been agreed to in the MOU.

  • If there is no such vacancy, the employee shall be eligible to utilize County seniority to bump the least senior employee in their former classification in the county where the employee worked prior to the transfer.

  • Seniority means length of service with the Employer.

A person maintains residency in the county in which the person last resided while the person is present in another county receiving services in a hospital, a correctional facility, a halfway house for community-based corrections or substance-related treatment, a nursing facility, an intermediate care facility for persons with an intellectual disability, or a residential care facility, or for the purpose of attending a college or university.   • County Auditor means the Greenville County Auditor, or the person holding any successor office of the County.

  • Vice-Chancellor means the Vice-Chancellor of the University.

  • County review agency means an agency designated by the County Board of Chosen Freeholders to review municipal stormwater management plans and implementing ordinance(s). The county review agency may either be:
