Course Sponsor definition

Course Sponsor means a person approved by the Board to conduct home inspection prelicensing courses.
Course Sponsor means the person or legal entity who is registered pursuant to this Part and who is responsible for conducting a continuing education course approved by the Department.
Course Sponsor means a nationally recognized assessing organization, appraisal organization, postsecondary educational institution, or other education delivery organization approved by the department under this section to offer courses approved by the department for Level Three assessor-appraiser certification.

  • Therefore, Course Sponsor hereby grants to Students and to Carnegie Mellon a non-exclusive right to access, use, modify, copy, and create derivative works of any information, data, and/or materials (including copyrighted works) provided by the Course Sponsor solely for use in connection with the Course Project.

  • Apprenticeship sponsor means an entity operating an apprenticeship program or an entity in whose name an apprenticeship program is being operated, which is registered with or approved by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.

  • Finance Subsidiary means, with respect to any Person, any Subsidiary of such Person which is primarily engaged in leasing or financing activities including (a) lease and purchase financing provided by such Subsidiary to dealers and consumers, (b) leasing or financing of installment receivables or otherwise providing banking, financial or insurance services to the Company and/or its affiliates or others or (c) financing the Company’s and/or its affiliates’ operations.

  • Clinical nurse specialist means a registered nurse with relevant post-basic qualifications and 12 months’ experience working in the clinical area of his/her specified post-basic qualification, or a minimum of four years’ post-basic registration experience, including three years’ experience in the relevant specialist field and who satisfies the local criteria.

  • Sponsoring entity means a nonprofit corporation, nonprofit cooperative, state governmental entity, local unit of government as defined in ORS 466.706, housing authority or any other person, provided that the person has agreed to restrictive covenants imposed by a nonprofit corporation, nonprofit cooperative, state governmental entity, local unit of government or housing authority.

  • Nurse aide means any individual who is not a licensed health professional or volunteer providing nursing or nursing-related services to residents in a nursing facility.
