Critical Defect definition

Critical Defect means a Defect critical to Customer’s business, requiring a solution as quickly as possible.
Critical Defect means an Error as defined in the System maintenance and support agreement between the City and the System Contractor and at least 25% of the User base of the Production System are impacted in the same manner as defined in the System maintenance and support agreement for a Critical Defect.
Critical Defect means a Defect which renders the core functionality of the Software inoperable.

  • If Service Restoration with respect to a Critical Defect has not been achieved within one (1) hour after the defect is reported by BTE to Vice President of Operations, as applicable, Vendor shall notify the appropriate Vendor supervisory management of the unrestored condition.

  • The Critical Defect must be reproducible by Customer and Contractor, and one for which no acceptable alternative functionality can be identified.

More Definitions of Critical Defect

Critical Defect means any functional defect in the Enhancement to be implemented by the Additional Services hereunder that prevents one or more Users from performing a create, activate, modify or delete of an Active SV. For such a defect to be considered a Critical Defect it must be reproducible and be one for which no acceptable alternative functionality can be identified.
Critical Defect means a critical failure of, or critical defect in, the tested functionality of the applicable Mission Critical System which prevents its operation or produces incorrect or incomplete results, without a workaround, but excluding High Defects, Medium Defects or Low Defects.
Critical Defect means a Defect that might reasonably be expected to endanger life or be a hazard to health, including, but not limited to, Defects that might give an electric shock or create a fire hazard.
Critical Defect means a Defect that results in non-performance of the Licensed Software and renders the Clerk unable to effectively perform its functions with respect to Official Records.
Critical Defect means a Defect which appears on or before the Defects Date for the ODP Infrastructure Works and which is:
Critical Defect means a Defect which, either alone or in combination with other Defects: (1) does not meet Approval Criteria, unless specifically indicated otherwise in the DED, (2) adversely affects essential functions of the IES until the Defect has been corrected, or (3) prevents use of the IES without substantial disruption to business operations until the Defect has been corrected. No practical work around exists which would allow use on an interim basis until the Critical Defect has been corrected.
