Pre-Existing Condition LimitationWe will not pay the Critical Illness Benefit, Benefits Payable Upon Subsequent Diagnosis of a Critical Illness or Additional Critical Illness Benefit for Dependent Children for any covered person when the critical illness is a pre-existing condition as defined in this certificate, unless the covered person has satisfied the pre-existing condition limitation period shown on the Certificate Schedule on the date the covered person is diagnosed with a critical illness.
We will not pay the Additional Critical Illness Benefit for Dependent Children for any critical illness diagnosed during the 12 months following the coverage effective date if the critical illness is a pre-existing condition.
