Critical Period definition

Critical Period means the time interval for which an individual infected with an STI is asked to recall sexual or needle-sharing contacts. Ideally, the critical period covers the time from the earliest date an individual could have been infected with an STI up to the date of diagnosis or treatment.

Examples of Critical Period in a sentence

  • Capability (“FPLCC”) means for the Coordinated System the firm energy load and Peak Load, respectively (as determined pursuant to this Agreement), that the Coordinated System is able to serve in any Period (inside or outside of the Critical Period) from the Firm Resources of the Coordinated System after deducting the required energy reserves and Forced Outage Reserve.
