Designated CMT Index Maturity definition

Designated CMT Index Maturity means, if the Base Rate is the CMT Rate, the Index Maturity for this Security and will be the original period to maturity of a U.S. Treasury security — either 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 20 or 30 years — specified on the face hereof, provided that, if no such original maturity period is so specified, the Designated CMT Index Maturity will be 2 years.
Designated CMT Index Maturity means the Index Maturity for such Supplemental Obligation and will be the original period to maturity of a U.S. Treasury security — either 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 20 or 30 years — specified in the applicable Pricing Supplement, provided that, if no such original maturity period is so specified, the Designated CMT Index Maturity will be 2 years.
Designated CMT Index Maturity means the Index Maturity for a Note having as its Interest Rate Basis the CMT Rate and will be the original period to maturity of a U.S. treasury security -- either 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 20 or 30 years -- specified in the applicable pricing supplement. If no such original maturity period is so specified, the Designated CMT Index Maturity will be 2 years.

Examples of Designated CMT Index Maturity in a sentence

  • If two Treasury Notes with an original maturity longer than the CMT Designated Index Maturity have remaining terms to maturity that are equally close to the Designated CMT Index Maturity, the Calculation Agent will obtain quotations for the Treasury Note with the shorter remaining term to maturity.

  • If two Treasury securities with an original maturity longer than the CMT Designated Index Maturity have remaining terms to maturity that are equally close to the Designated CMT Index Maturity, the Calculation Agent will obtain quotations for the Treasury securities with the shorter original term to maturity.

  • If the applicable average described in clause (A) above does not appear on the Designated Reuters Screen Page or in H.15(919), then the CMT Rate for such Interest Reset Date will be the one-week average yield for Treasury securities at “constant maturity” for a period equal to the Designated CMT Index Maturity as otherwise announced by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for the week preceding such Interest Reset Date.

  • If the applicable rate described in clause (A) above does not appear in H.15(519), then the CMT Rate for such Interest Reset Date will be the Treasury constant maturity rate, for the Designated CMT Index Maturity that: a.

  • If the applicable average described in clause (ii) above is not displayed on the Designated CMT Reuters Screen Page, then the CMT Rate for such Interest Reset Date will be the one-week average yield for Treasury securities at “constant maturity” for a period of the Designated CMT Index Maturity and for the week preceding such Interest Reset Date as published in H.15(519) under the heading “Week Ending” and opposite the heading “Treasury constant maturities”.
