Designated Server definition

Designated Server means a computer server designated by Customer in connection with the installation of the Licensed Products (as may be modified in accordance with Section 1.2 of this Agreement) that has one unique instance of the applicable installed Licensed Product application.
Designated Server means a single logical network entity that provides capability to Clients.

  • Customer may, from time to time, change the Designated Server and/or the Designated Country in which Customer seeks to install or operate a Licensed Product, provided that in each case (i) Customer shall give prior written notice to PTC of any such change, and (ii) upon moving the Licensed Products to a different Designated Country, Customer shall pay the associated Uplift Fees.

  • Except in the case of Global or Restricted Global Licenses, Customer may only install and operate Licensed Products on the applicable Designated Server situated in the applicable Designated Country.


More Definitions of Designated Server

Designated Server means any server upon which the Software is installed and which is enabled by a license key provided by Licensor.
Designated Server means the hardware and/or virtual configuration with its operating system, on which the Software is to be stored and used. Each Designated Server shall be designated by a unique “ HostID ” parameter, which will be its single reference within RSCS’s information system.
