Dewatering System definition

Dewatering System means a permanent well, drain, sump or other excavation constructed for the purpose of keeping the water table below a desired level or elevation where the water produced is not put to beneficial use. Note: A dewatering system is not the same as a “dewatering well” defined by section 37-91-102(4.5), C.R.S.
Dewatering System means mechanical equipment used to remove groundwater from an excavation for construction purposes. Equipment consists of a pump, intake and discharge piping, and wells, well points, sumps, or excavations.
Dewatering System is defined as a combination of one (1) or more pumps of any type, size, or motive power with combined discharge capacity of over 4", including but not limited to well-point pumps, submersible well pumps, ejector, or educator pumps in combination with xxxxx, well-points, sumps, piping, and/or other appurtenances irrespective of motive power to control water on any and all types of construction work.
