Direct hire employee definition

Direct hire employee means an individual who is an employee of the PEO and has no employment or working relationship with any client employer.
Direct hire employee of a client or a PEO means an individual who is an employee within the meaning of the Workers’ Compensation Act and who is not a PEO co-employee as defined in Subsection J.
Direct hire employee means a person employed by the Peace Corps by appointment under Section 7(a), 7(c) or 13 of the Peace Corps Act or under a similar appointment authority.
