Disability Contract definition

Disability Contract means the long-term disability insurance contract maintained by the County with the Insuror covering certain classes and categories of County employees.

  • Disability means total and permanent disability as defined in Section 22(e)(3) of the Code.

  • Recurrent Disability means a Disability caused by an Injury or Sickness that is the same as, or related to, the cause of a prior Disability for which Monthly Benefits were payable. A Recurrent Disability will be treated as follows.

  • Disability Retirement Date means the first day of the month following the last day of paid employment;

  • Child with a disability means a child who, by reason of any of the following, needs special education and related services:

  • Disability or Disabled means that during the Elimination Period and your Own Occupation Period you are, as a result of Physical Disease, Injury, Mental Disorder, Substance Abuse or Pregnancy, unable to perform one or more of the Material Duties of your Own Occupation, and, due to such inability, your Work Earnings are less than 80% of your Indexed Predisability Earnings, and you are incapable of earning 80% or more of your Indexed Predisability Earnings.   • Severe Intellectual Disability means a level of functioning severely below age expectations whereby in a consistent basis the student is incapable of giving evidence of understanding and responding in a positive manner to simple directions expressed in the child's primary mode of communication and cannot in some manner express basic wants and needs.

  • Service-connected disability means a disability incurred or aggravated in the line of duty in the active military, naval, or air service as described in 38 USC 101(16).

  • Community Developmental Disability Program (CDDP means an entity that is responsible for planning and delivery of services for individuals with developmental disabilities in a specific geographic service area of the state operated by or under a contract with the Division or a local mental health authority.

  • Developmental disability means that condition defined in RCW 71A.10.020(5);

  • Disability Effective Date means the date on which termination of employment becomes effective due to Disability.
