Disaster means a sudden emergency occurrence beyond the control of the licensee, whether natural, technological, or man-made, that renders the licensee unable to operate the facility or makes the facility uninhabitable.
Emergency work means any urgent measures which in the opinion of the Engineer-in-Charge become necessary during the progress of the work to obviate any risk of accident or failure or which become necessary for security.
The Work means the work or works to be executed or done under this contract.
Force Majeure means an event beyond the control of the supplier and not involving the supplier’s fault or negligence and not foreseeable. Such events may include, but is not restricted to, acts of the purchaser in its sovereign capacity, wars or revolutions, fires, floods, epidemics, quarantine restrictions and freight embargoes.

Force Majeure Event means any act, event, condition or circumstance that (1) is beyond the reasonable control of the Affected Party, (2) by itself or in combination with other acts, events, conditions or circumstances adversely affects, interferes with or delays the Affected Party’s ability to perform its obligations under this Agreement, and (3) is not the fault of, or the direct result of the willful or negligent act, intentional misconduct, or breach of this Agreement by, the Affected Party.
Shift Work is defined as the same work performed by two or more employees or two or more successive sets or groups of employees working successive periods.
Similar work mentioned above means the following:
Installation Work means the construction and installation of the System and the Start-up, testing and acceptance (but not the operation and maintenance) thereof; all performed by or for the Power Producer at the Premises.
