Hearing Officer means any individual or board charged with the duty of rendering decisions at any stage on grievances hereunder.
Contracting Officer means the person designated by the Director or his duly authorized representative to execute this Agreement on the behalf of the Judiciary, and any other successor Contracting Officer who has responsibility for this agreement. The term includes, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, the authorized representative of a Contracting Officer acting within the limits of his written authority.
Presiding officer means the labor commissioner or designee.
Controlling Officer means an officer entrusted by a Department of the Central Government with the responsibility of controlling the incurring of expenditure and/or the collection of revenue. The term
Disciplinary Officer or “Conduct Administrator” means a University, College or CSCU official who is authorized to determine the appropriate resolution of an alleged violation of the Code, and/or to impose sanctions or affect other remedies as appropriate. Subject to the provisions of this Code, a disciplinary officer or conduct administrator is vested with the authority to, among other duties: investigate a complaint of an alleged violation of the Code decline to pursue a complaint, refer identified disputants to mediation or other appropriate avenues of resolution, establish charges against a student, enter into an administrative agreement developed with an Accused Student in accordance with Section II-B-3 of this Code, advise a Hearing Body, and present the case before the Hearing Body.
Screening Officer means a person appointed to that position under this bylaw.
Investigating Officer means the person appointed by the Monitoring Officer to undertake a formal investigation of a complaint alleging a breach of the Code of Conduct by a Subject Member. The Investigating Officer may be another senior officer of the District Council, an officer of another authority or an external investigator.
adjudicating officer means the adjudicating officer appointed under sub-section (1) of section 71;
Monitoring Officer means the officer designated under Section 5(1) of the 1989 Act.
Disciplinary Committee means any person or committee of persons, or any subcommittee thereof, that is author- ized by a self-regulatory organization to issue disciplinary charges, to con- duct disciplinary proceedings, to settle disciplinary charges, to impose dis- ciplinary sanctions or to hear appeals thereof.
signing officer means, in relation to any instrument, any person authorized to sign the same on behalf of the Corporation by paragraph 2.03 or by a resolution passed pursuant thereto;
Ordering Officer means any person within the Agency authorised to order particular Services under the Contract.
Filing officer means the office that is designated by section
Reporting Officer With respect to the Owner Trustee, any officer, employee or other person within the Corporate Trust Office of the Owner Trustee having responsibility for the administration of the Trust Agreement.
Disciplinary Board means the Medical Disciplinary
Assessing Officer means an officer of a State Government or Board or licensee, as the case may be, designated as such by the State Government;
Hearings Officer means a person from time to time appointed by Council pursuant to the Hearings Officer By-law;
Grievance Committee means the Grievance Committee of the Bar.
Returning Officer means a person appointed by the Club to conduct an election on behalf of the Club, and shall include the State Electoral Commissioner or his representative when said Commissioner conducts an election.
Approving Officer means Richard S. Pzena, John P. Goetz, Ben Silver, Allison Fisch, or designee.
Disciplinary Panel means the panel appointed pursuant to Rule 613(b) to conduct hearings in connection with disciplinary proceedings (other than summary impositions of fines pursuant to Rule 601(b)), to make findings, render decisions, and impose sanctions pursuant to Chapter 6 of the Rules. The Disciplinary Panel must meet the composition requirements set forth in Part 40 of the CFTC Regulations and the composition requirements set forth in Rule 613(b).
