Diverse Vendor definition

Diverse Vendor a company that is certified as diverse by the City of New York or the State of New York. Goods: items provided under this Agreement, which include tangible items, such as commodities (e.g., gloves, paper, furniture, pharmaceuticals, computers), equipment (e.g., x-rays, generators), and intangible items where most of the cost is not attributable to a service (e.g., stock software would be considered a Good whereas a custom developed interface would be considered a Service). NYC Health + Hospitals: New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, a public benefit corporation established by the laws of the State of New York. Services: actions provided by a Vendor under this Agreement for the benefit of NYC Health + Hospitals, such as software support, equipment maintenance, professional services (e.g., legal), non-professional services (e.g., cleaning), consultations, and the like. Vendor: the individual or entity providing Goods or Services under this Agreement. Vendor Employee(s): owners, partners, members, officers, directors, employees, agents, or any other person under the reasonable control of Vendor.
Diverse Vendor means a vendor who is a minority, disabled or woman and includes any business owned by such individuals, as defined in 12 CFR 1223 – Minority and Women Inclusion.

  • Each proposed CDV Subcontractor must qualify as a Certified Diverse Vendor with one of Broward Health’s CDV Certification partners as indicated above.

  • To the extent this RFP contains a Certified Diverse Vendor subcontracting requirement, it shall be noted in the RFP Summary Page, as amended by applicable addenda.

  • It may also be awarded to Non-Certified Diverse Vendors who document Certified Diverse Vendor solicitation and utilization (past and planned for this RFP).

  • Explain how your company solicits, invites, and encourages Diverse Vendor participation in your company’s procurement of goods and services.

Related to Diverse Vendor

  • The Vendor means the person, firm, company or organization on whom the Purchase Order is placed and shall be deemed to include the vendor’s successors, representative heirs, executors and administrator as the case may be. It may also be referred to as Seller, Contractor or Supplier.

  • Prime Vendor – means any person (natural or juristic) who forwards an acceptable proposal in response to this RFB with the intention of being the main contractor should the proposal be awarded to him/her.

  • Purchaser Personnel means the Purchasers’, and each Purchaser’s Affiliates’, officers, directors (or their equivalent), employees, agents, and contractors of any kind.

  • Group Companies means the Company and its Subsidiaries.

  • Company Entities means the Company and the Company Subsidiaries.

  • Restricted companies means companies that boycott Israel.

  • PRC Entities means the PRC Subsidiaries and the Consolidated Affiliated Entities collectively.

  • the Business means the usual work and activities carried on by the Insured pertaining to his business as specified in the Schedule and no others.

  • PJM Entities means PJM, including the Market Monitoring Unit, the PJM Board, and PJM’s officers, employees, representatives, advisors, contractors, and consultants.

  • Covered Entities have the meanings stated in Section 1(a) of the Parent Support Agreement.

  • Target Companies means the Company and its Subsidiaries.

  • End Client means the end client (if any) in respect of the project in connection with which the Supplier is providing its Services as a sub-contractor;

  • Elan means Elan Corp and its Affiliates.

  • Company Personnel means any current or former officer, employee, director or consultant of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • QSE means a qualifying small business enterprise in terms of a code of good practice on black economic empowerment issued in terms of section 9 (1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act; (j) “rand value” means the total estimated value of a contract in Rand, calculated at the time of bid invitation, and includes all applicable taxes;

  • MSC means Xxxxxx Shopping Centre Pty. Limited, its successors and permitted assigns;

  • Third Party Vendor means any person or entity that provides SaaS, third party software and/or related intellectual property. “Work” means any additional work the Customer requests Singtel to perform in relation to the Service.

  • HK Company shall have the meaning ascribed to it in the preamble of this Agreement.

  • CCR means the California Code of Regulations.

  • Brookfield Group means Brookfield and any Affiliates of Brookfield, other than any member of the BREP Group;

  • NPS means nominal pipe size.

  • Acquired Companies means, collectively, the Company and the Company Subsidiaries.

  • Target Company means each of the Company and its direct and indirect Subsidiaries.

  • Seller Entities means the Seller and its affiliates other than the Buyer Entities;

  • THC means tetrahydrocannabinol.

  • Vendors means the proposer(s) responding to this RFP and vendor(s) to whom a contract has been awarded as a result of this RFP by SMSD. A responsible vendor is a vendor who has adequate financial resources (or the ability to obtain such resources), can comply with the delivery requirements, and is a qualified and established firm regularly engaged in the type of business that provides the product(s) /service(s) listed herein.
