Early Learning Program means a program for eligible children that is funded with Title IV-A funds and provides Title IV-A services that are both of the following:
Early Learning Program means regularly scheduled care, including an outdoor preschool program, for a group of children birth through twelve years of age for periods of less than twenty-four hours, licensed by the department.

  • Learning Programme means a programme of education and/or training delivered by the Provider under this Agreement;

  • Training program means an NCA-approved Iowa college, the Iowa law enforcement academy or an Iowa hospital approved by the department to conduct emergency medical care training.

  • Approved abuse education training program means a training program using a curriculum approved by the abuse education review panel of the department of public health or a training program offered by a hospital, a professional organization for physicians, or the department of human services, the department of education, an area education agency, a school district, the Iowa law enforcement academy, an Iowa college or university, or a similar state agency.

  • Specific learning disability (SLD) means a heterogeneous group of conditions wherein there is a deficit in processing language, spoken or written, that may manifest itself as a difficulty to comprehend, speak, read, write, spell, or to do mathematical calculations and includes such conditions as perceptual disabilities, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia and developmental aphasia.
