Early Work definition

Early Work means ordinary work performed before 6.00 a.m. which does not qualify as a night shift as defined in subclause 1.3.18 of this Award.
Early Work means Work, including preparatory activities and long lead time materials, Design-Builder shall perform under an Early Work Amendment (defined below) prior to a Pricing Amendment that includes such Work.
Early Work means Work, including preparatory activities and long lead time materials, that Construction Manager shall perform under an Early Work Amendment (defined below) prior to Owner and Construction Manager signing a GMP Amendment that includes such Work.

Examples of Early Work in a sentence

  • A separate Notice to Proceed shall be issued for any and every Early Work Amendment.

  • Early Work shall mean Construction Phase Services authorized by Amendment that the parties agree should be performed in advance of establishment of the GMP.

  • Early Work shall be considered part of Construction Phase Services.

  • Permissible Early Work shall be limited to: early procurement of materials and supplies; early release of bid or proposal packages for site development and related activities; and any other advance work related to critical components of the Project for which performance prior to establishment of the GMP will materially affect the critical path schedule of the Project.

  • Upon such termination, the amount to be paid to the CM/GC shall not exceed the Preconstruction Fee payable to the date of termination, together with amounts payable for Early Work if an Early Work Amendment has been executed.


More Definitions of Early Work
