Emergency Medical Evacuation definition

Emergency Medical Evacuation means the emergency transportation of the Insured Person from the location where the Insured Person suffers Accidental Bodily Injury or Illness to a Hospital where the appropriate Emergency Medical Treatment can be obtained.
Emergency Medical Evacuation means that the Assistance Company has determined that Your medical condition warrants immediate Transportation from the place where You are injured or sick during a Covered Trip to the nearest Hospital where appropriate medical treatment can be obtained.
Emergency Medical Evacuation means (1) the insured person’s medical condition warrants immediate transportation from the place where he is sick or injured to the nearest hospital where appropriate medical treatment can be obtained; (2) after being treated at a local hospital, his medical condition warrants transportation to the country where the trip commenced to obtain further medical treatment or to recover, or both (1) and (2) above.

  • To be eligible for coverage for Emergency Medical Evacuation benefits, the Insured Person must be in compliance with all Terms of this insurance.

  • The Company will provide Emergency Medical Evacuation benefits only when the condition, Illness, Injury or occurrence giving rise to the Emergency Medical Evacuation is covered under the Terms of this insurance.

  • The Emergency Medical Evacuation or Emergency Medical Repatriation must be arranged by Seven Corners Assist in consultation with Your local attending Physician.

  • The Company will pay transportation and related medical Expenses incurred during such transportation up to the amount set forth in the Schedule of Benefits if any covered Injury or Illness commences while You are outside Your Home Country during the Period of Coverage and results in Your Medically Necessary (i) Emergency Medical Evacuation or (ii) Emergency Medical Repatriation.

  • This Policy will only pay for EITHER ONE claim under Section 3(A) - Emergency Medical Evacuation OR Section 3(B) – Repatriation of Mortal Remains but NOT BOTH.

Emergency Medical Evacuation means the medical condition of the Insured Beneficiary warrants Immediate transportation of the Insured Beneficiary from the place he/she sustains accidental injuries to the nearest hospital for appropriate treatment and/or after the treatment the medical condition of the Insured Beneficiary warrants transportation to the City of residence for the purpose of further medical treatment or recovery.
Emergency Medical Evacuation means: 1) the Covered Person’s immediate transportation from the place where he or she suffers an Injury or Sickness to the nearest hospital or other medical facility where appropriate medical treatment can be obtained; or 2) the Covered Person’s transportation to his or her home country to obtain further medical treatment in a hospital or other medical facility or to recover after suffering an Injury or Sickness. An Emergency Medical Evacuation also includes medically necessary medical treatment, medical services, and medical supplies necessarily received in connection with such transportation.
