Engine Flight Hour definition

Engine Flight Hour or “EFH” - Engine flight hour expressed in hourly increments of aircraft flight from wheels up to wheels down.
Engine Flight Hour means each hour or part thereof an Engine is operated, elapsing from the moment the wheels of an aircraft on which such Engine is installed leave the ground until the wheels of such aircraft next touch the ground.
Engine Flight Hour means each hour or part thereof elapsing from the moment the wheels of the airframe (including, without limitation, the Airframe) on which such Engine is from time to time installed leave the ground on takeoff until the wheels of such airframe touch the ground on landing following such flight. For purposes of all calculations under this Agreement measured in Engine Flight Hours, such Engine Flight Hours (and parts thereof) shall be rounded to the nearest minute.

  • Engine Flight Hour Each full or partial hour that the Engine is in operation.

Engine Flight Hour means each hour or part thereof an Engine is operated, elapsing from the moment the wheels of an aircraft on which such Engine is installed leave the ground until the wheels of such aircraft next touch the ground; Engine Performance Restoration shall mean off-wing engine shop visits including performance restoration or full overhaul of all core modules of the relevant Engine, accomplished in accordance with the Engine manufacturer’s workscope planning document as customized for Lessee, with a scheduled Life Limited Part and Airworthiness Directive release of no less than 7,500 Cycles and 3 years and on-condition release of no less than 11,000 Flight Hours and 7,500 Cycles and 3 years;

Engine Flight Hour means each hour or part thereof an Engine is operated, elapsing from the moment that wheels of an aircraft on which such Engine is installed leave the ground until the wheels of such aircraft next touch the ground. Related to Engine Flight Hour

  • Flight Hour means each hour or part thereof elapsing from the moment at which the wheels of the Aircraft (or other aircraft in the case of Parts or Engines temporarily installed on such other aircraft) leave the ground on the take-off of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) until the wheels of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) touch the ground on the landing of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) following such take-off.

  • Ferry Flight means the movement of an aircraft without payload to position the aircraft to perform a flight or upon completion of a flight to position the aircraft to a point required by the carrier.

  • Clock hour means either of the following:

  • APU means the auxiliary power unit of the Aircraft.

  • Kilowatt-hour or “kWh” shall mean three decimal six million (3.6 10E6) Joule

  • Flight means any flight demonstration, flight test, taxi test, or other flight made in the performance of this contract, of for the purpose of safeguarding the aircraft, or previously approved in writing by the Contracting Officer.

  • Scheduled Flight means a flight in an aircraft where the airline is listed in the Official Airline guide or equivalent and the air carrier holds a certificate, licence or similar authorization for scheduled air transportation issued by the relevant authorities in the country in which the aircraft is registered and, in accordance with such authorization, maintains and publishes schedules and tariffs for passenger service between named airports at regular and specific times. Scheduled Airline does not include Private Charter.

  • Aircraft means any machine that can derive support in the atmosphere from the reactions of the air other than the reactions of the air against the earth’s surface;

  • Unmanned aircraft system means an unmanned aircraft and associated elements, including communication links and components that control the unmanned aircraft that are required for the pilot in command to operate safely and efficiently in the national airspace system.

  • Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.

  • Fuel system means the components which store or transport fuel on board the vehicle and comprise the fuel tank system, all fuel and vapour lines, any non-tank mounted fuel pumps and the activated carbon canister.

  • Generator Maintenance Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit in order to perform necessary repairs on specific components of the facility, if removal of the facility meets the guidelines specified in the PJM Manuals.

  • Spares means a part or a sub-assembly or assembly for substitution which is ready to replace an identical or similar part or sub-assembly or assembly including a component or an accessory;
