Environmental and Social Instruments definition

Environmental and Social Instruments means, collectively, the Borrower’s environmental and social instruments for the Project, as specified in the Environmental and Social Commitment Plan.
Environmental and Social Instruments means: (i) the Environmental and Social Management Framework; (ii) the Labor Management Procedure; (iii) the Resettlement Policy Framework and the Process Framework; and (iv) the Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework, to be prepared or updated by APN, as relevant, and to be updated, disclosed, consulted upon and adopted for the Project, as set out in the ESCP, in accordance with the Environmental and Social Standards.
Environmental and Social Instruments means the environmental and social instruments to be adopted and complied with by the Recipient in accordance with the Environmental and Social Commitment Plan, as the same may be amended from time to time in accordance with the provisions thereof.

More Definitions of Environmental and Social Instruments

Environmental and Social Instruments means the environmental and social documents of the Borrower, through MoIT, for the Borrower’s Respective Part of the Project required under the Bank’s Environmental and Social Framework and referred to in the Environmental and Social Commitment Plan, the Environmental and Social Management System, and Stakeholder Engagement Plan.
Environmental and Social Instruments means: (i) the Environmental and Social Management Framework; (ii) the Labor Management Procedure; (iii) the Indigenous Peoples Plan; and (iv) the Stakeholder Engagement Plan, to be prepared or updated by MINSA, as relevant, and to be disclosed, consulted upon and adopted for the Project, as set out in the ESCP, in accordance with the Environmental and Social Standards.
Environmental and Social Instruments means the environmental and safeguards instruments that have been prepared, adopted and disclosed by the Recipient in connection with the Project, and which include the Environmental and Social Risk Management Strategy and the Sector Guide on Off-Grid Solar (as such terms are hereinafter defined).

Related to Environmental and Social Instruments

  • Environmental and Social Commitment Plan or “ESCP” means the environmental and social commitment plan for the Project, dated May 14, 2020, as the same may be amended from time to time in accordance with the provisions thereof, which sets out the material measures and actions that the Borrower shall carry out or cause to be carried out to address the potential environmental and social risks and impacts of the Project, including the timeframes of the actions and measures, institutional, staffing, training, monitoring and reporting arrangements, and any environmental and social instruments to be prepared thereunder.

  • Environmental and Social Standard 8: Cultural Heritage”; (ix) “Environmental and Social Standard 9: Financial Intermediaries”; (x) “Environmental and Social Standard 10: Stakeholder Engagement and Information Disclosure”; effective on October 1, 2018, as published by the Bank.

  • Environmental and Social Standards or “ESSs” means, collectively:

  • Environmental and Social Impact Assessment or “ESIA” means a site-specific report, to be prepared in accordance with the parameters laid down in the ESMF (as hereinafter defined) and acceptable to the Association, identifying and assessing the potential environmental and social impacts of the activities to be undertaken for the Project, evaluating alternatives, and designing appropriate mitigation, management, and monitoring measures.

  • Environmental Legislation means any laws, statutes, regulations, orders, bylaws, permits or lawful requirements of any governmental authority with respect to environmental protection;

  • Environmental Regulations means any federal, state or local law, statute, code, ordinance, regulation, requirement or rule relating to dangerous, toxic or hazardous pollutants, Hazardous Substances or chemical waste, materials or substances.
