Resettlement Policy Framework definition

Resettlement Policy Framework or “RPF” means the resettlement policy framework adopted by the Recipient on January 20, 2011, setting forth, inter alia, a brief description of the Project and components for which land acquisition and Resettlement are required, the principles and objectives governing Resettlement preparation and implementation, and a description of the process for preparing and approving site-specific Resettlement Action Plans.
Resettlement Policy Framework and “RPF” means the Resettlement Policy Framework, dated February 2004 and updated in March 2008, prepared by KPLC for compensation payments to be made under the Project to Affected Persons and referred to in Section I.D (1)(a) of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, as the said document may be amended and/or supplemented from time to time with the prior written concurrence of the Association;
Resettlement Policy Framework and the acronym “RPF” means the resettlement policy framework, satisfactory to the World Bank, dated October 15, 2008, as such framework may be amended from time to time by agreement of the Recipient and the World Bank, which sets out, inter alia, the principles and objectives of the RPF, the institutional and implementation arrangements, the requirements of a resettlement action plan including, the eligibility criteria for assistance and rehabilitation entitlements, as well as the monitoring and reporting arrangements to ensure compliance with the provisions of the RPF.

More Definitions of Resettlement Policy Framework

Resettlement Policy Framework means the Recipient’s framework, dated July 2009, agreed with the Association and setting out the arrangements, including related compensation measures, to be applied in the event of the physical or economic displacement of persons affected by activities to be implemented under the Project, as the same may be modified from time to time with the prior written agreement of the Association, and such term includes any schedules or annexes to such Framework.
Resettlement Policy Framework or “RPF” means the framework dated March, 2004, outlining the modalities for land acquisition, resettlement and rehabilitation under Parts B.1 and B.3 of the Project referred to in paragraph B of Schedule 4 to this Agreement;

Resettlement Policy Framework means a document adopted by the Borrower which sets forth policies and procedures to be followed in case of land acquisition and/or resettlement which might be required for carrying out of a Sub-project, including the requirements for preparation of land acquisition plans or resettlement action plans; and such document constitutes an integral part of the Operational Manual.
Resettlement Policy Framework or "RPF" means the Resettlement Policy Framework, dated January 18, 2002, issued by the Borrower, and describing a program of actions, measures and policies designed to avoid or minimize any adverse impact or hardship to PAPs as a result of Part A through E of the Project or, if such adverse impact or hardship cannot be avoided altogether, provide for the compensation and resettlement of such PAPs as may be appropriate;
