Equity Linked Note definition

Equity Linked Note means a Series of Notes in respect of which either an amount, which shall be calculated by reference to the value of a Security or Securities and/or a formula, is payable or a Securities Transfer Amount is deliverable (as indicated in the relevant Pricing Supplement);

Equity Linked Note means an Equity Linked Interest Note or an Equity Linked Redemption Note.

Equity Linked Note means an Equity Linked Interest Note, an Equity Linked Redemption Note or a combination of the foregoing. In the case where an Equity Linked Note is an Equity Linked Interest Note only, the equity-linked redemption provisions in these Terms and Conditions shall not apply to it. In the case where an Equity Linked Note is an Equity Linked Redemption Note only, the equity-linked interest provisions in these Terms and Conditions shall not apply to it.

• This Note may be an Instalment Note, an Equity Linked Note, an Index Linked Note, a Fund Linked Note, a Multi Underlying Linked Note, an Inflation Linked Note or a combination of any of the foregoing, depending upon the Redemption/ Payment Basis shown in the applicable Pricing Supplement.

• This Note may be a Fixed Rate Note, a Floating Rate Note, a Zero Coupon Note, an Equity Linked Note, an Index Linked Note, a Fund Linked Note, a Multi Underlying Linked Note or an Inflation Linked Note or a combination of any of the foregoing, depending upon the Interest Basis shown in the applicable Pricing Supplement.

• Each Floating Rate Note, Equity Linked Note, Cash Equity Note and Index Linked Interest Note which bears interest shall do so on its outstanding nominal amount from the Interest Commencement Date at the rate per annum (expressed as a percentage) equal to the Rate of Interest, such interest being payable in arrears on each Interest Payment Date.

• If, prior to the delivery of the Entitlement in respect of any Equity Linked Note in accordance with these Physical Delivery Conditions, a Settlement Disruption Event is subsisting, then the Maturity Delivery Date in respect of such Equity Linked Note shall be postponed until the next business day for the relevant settlement system(s) and/or centre(s) relevant for delivery of the Entitlement(s) (as determined by the Calculation Agent) on which no Settlement Disruption Event is subsisting.

More Definitions of Equity Linked Note

Equity Linked Note means a Note specified as such in the Final Terms. "Euroclear" means Euroclear Bank S.A./N.V.

Equity Linked Note means a Note where one or more payments under the Note are linked to one or more equity or equity-like securities, including, but not limited to, the price or yield of such securities.
