ETF means exchange-traded fund.
ETF means an exchange-traded fund.
ETF means an open-ended pooled investment vehicle, unit trust, investment company or other collective or commingled investment vehicle that has the following characteristics: (i) it issues, sells and redeems blocks of shares, units or other interests, which blocks are sometimes referred to as “creation units”; (ii) the shares, units or similar interests thereof are listed or traded on an Organized Securities Market; and (iii) the investment objective thereof is, and at all times remains, to own a basket of securities and/or other financial instruments, such as futures, options, forward contracts and other derivative contracts in an attempt to track the performance of the securities represented by an Index. As used herein, the term “ETF” excludes, without limitation, ETNs, indexed warrants, indexed debt instruments, options, futures contracts or other derivative contracts based on the value of ETF shares or on an underlying Index, or other securities or index-linked contracts that are traded on Organized Securities Markets but that are not pooled investment vehicles.

Examples of ETF in a sentence

  • With respect to each Fund that is an ETF, contract for and coordinate the intra-day publication, every 15 seconds throughout the trading day, through the facilities of the Consolidated Tape Association an amount (sometimes referred to as the “INAV”) equal to the sum of the current value of the portfolio positions as reflected in the Fund Deposit (as defined in the Fund’s prospectus) divided by the number of Fund shares outstanding.

  • The Trust and the Distributor are parties to an ETF Distribution Agreement dated as of November 22, 2023 (the “Agreement”).

  • For each Fund that is not an ETF, monitor trading activity to help identify market timers and recommend policies to deter market timing.
