  • Excepted Security means any security issued by the Government of the United States, bankers’ acceptance, bank certificate of deposit, commercial paper, share of any open-end money market fund, or share of any other registered open-end investment company (other than a Reportable U.S. Global Fund or an exchange-traded fund).

  • Certificated Security The meaning specified in Section 8-102(a)(4) of the UCC.

  • Bid Security means the bid security provided by the Contractor to the Authority in accordance with the Request for Proposal, and which is to remain in force until substituted by the Performance Security;
