If any of the inspections or tests disclose an error exceeding 0.5 percent, either fast or slow, proper correction, based upon the inaccuracy found, shall be made of previous readings for the actual period during which the Facility Meter rendered inaccurate measurements if that period can be ascertained.
If the actual period cannot be ascertained, the proper correction shall be made to the measurements taken during the time the metering equipment was in service since last tested, but not exceeding three (3) months, in the amount the Facility Meter shall have been shown to be in error by such test.
