Fit to Work definition

Fit to Work means that an individual is in a physical, mental, and emotional state which enables the individual to perform the essential tasks of their work successfully or in a manner which does not threaten the safety or health of oneself, co-workers, property, or the public at large.
Fit to Work means a state of physical, mental and emotional health, which enables you to perform your duties without endangering the health and safety of yourself or others as determined by the Company at its absolute discretion.
Fit to Work means a state of physical, mental and emotional health, which enables a person to perform their duties that does not endanger the health and safety of themselves or others.

More Definitions of Fit to Work

Related to Fit to Work

  • General Conditions Cost means costs incurred and minor work performed by Contractor without the need for competitive bids/proposals. The allowable General Conditions items are limited in Paragraph 11.1 and are further described on Exhibit “D”. The maximum allowable General Conditions Cost payable to Contractor during the Construction Phase of the Project is set out in Exhibit “A” attached to this Agreement.

  • job work means any treatment or process undertaken by a person on goods belonging to another registered person and the expression “job worker” shall be construed accordingly;

  • Building Work has the meaning given to it in section 6 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth).

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • Work crew means a program of partial confinement

  • Minimum Improvements means devoting the Development Property to its intended Use and construction of approximately a square foot parking facility for use as parking for the Developer as identified and set forth in Exhibit C and constructed in accordance with the Construction Plans submitted to and approved by the Authority.   • Normal Working Hours means between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, inclusive. Saturdays, Sundays, and County holidays are excluded.

  • Completion of work means completion of the entire contracted work. Exhaustion of quantity of any particular item mentioned in the bid document shall not imply completion of work or any component thereof.

  • Construction Phase Services means the coordination, implementation and execution of the Work required by this Agreement, which are further defined in Article 8.

  • Shift Work is defined as the same work performed by two or more employees or two or more successive sets or groups of employees working successive periods.

  • Electrical work Means any labor or material used in installing, altering, maintaining, or extending an electrical wiring system and the appurtenances, apparatus, or equipment used in connection with the use of electrical energy in, on, outside, or attached to a building, residence, structure, property, or premises. The term includes service entrance conductors as defined by the National Electrical Code.

  • Minimum Essential Coverage has the meaning given in the Affordable Care Act, 26 U.S.C. §5000A(f).

  • Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Tenant Improvement Allowance in the maximum amount of $200.00 per rentable square foot in the Premises, which is included in the Base Rent set forth in the Lease; and

  • Base Building Work means the base building work for the Building as described in this Manual.

  • tidal work means so much of any work authorised by this Order as is on, under or over tidal waters or tidal lands below the level of high water;
