Fit to Work definition

Fit to Work means a state of physical, mental and emotional health, which enables a person to perform their duties without endangering the health and safety of themselves or others as determined by the Company in its sole discretion.
Fit to Work means that an individual is in a physical, mental, and emotional state which enables the individual to perform the essential tasks of their work successfully or in a manner which does not threaten the safety or health of oneself, co-workers, property, or the public at large.
Fit to Work means a state of physical, mental and emotional health, which enables a person to perform their duties without endangering the health and safety of themselves or others as determined by RND Crewing in its sole discretion.

Examples of Fit to Work in a sentence

  • P3 Fit to Work: medical referrals undertaken in line with your Sickness Absence Policy.

  • The Company has the right and will implement a Transitional Work Program (“Light Duty” return to work), and a Fit to Work Program.

  • Council will maintain a Fit to Work Safely Policy that ensures employees are in a fit condition to perform work to the required standard and to perform work safely and outlines support mechanisms available to staff.
