Flex schedule definition

Flex schedule means a work schedule that consists of varying hours during a work week. A flex schedule must be approved by an Appointing Authority.
Flex schedule means scheduling starting times and ending times to accommodate the specialty jobs listed in Article 26 Section 26.1. A workday will still consist of 8 or 10 consecutive hours, depending on the schedule the employee is working. Employees will not be required to split shifts.
