Examples of Food Grain in a sentence

  • The Food Grain should at all times be within the limits prescribed under Grain Acceptance Specifications in Schedule E.

  • The Concessionaire shall be responsible for the quantity and quality, as determined through the Pre-Acceptance Test, of the Food Grain from Acceptance Point to the Dispatch Point.

  • In the event, a consignment of Food Grain does not meet the Grain Acceptance Specifications; the Concessionaire has the right to reject the concerned consignment, duly stating the reason for the same in the Pre-Acceptance Test Report.

  • No Storage and Handling Charge shall be payable on Food Grain provided under this Clause 10.6.3 till the Completion Certificate is issued.

  • The cost towards transportation of Food Grain to and from the Silo Complex shall be borne by the Authority, provided that if such costs are to be incurred more than once, the cost towards transportation after the first time shall be borne by the Concessionaire.

  • The Concessionaire shall prepare a consignment-wise report on the Food Grain dispatched (“Dispatch Report”).

Food Grain means and include Wheat, Paddy, Rice, Pulses, Maize, or any other food grains stored/ handled/ transported on behalf of CWC’ depositors; “Commodity” shall mean & include (RM may include the name of commodities to be considered while floating the tender) like fertilizer, cement, crude oil, coal, copper or iron ore, rough diamonds, and agricultural, industrial products such as wheat, coffee beans or cotton; “Godown/ Warehouse” shall mean and include depots, godowns, warehouse already belonging to or under occupation of the Corporation or may hereafter be constructed or acquired by it at any time and shall also mean and include pen platform/plinths built or constructed for storage of commodities inside or outside the premises; “Local Content” means the amount of value added in India which shall, unless otherwise prescribed by the Nodal Ministry, be the total value of the item procured (excluding net domestic indirect taxes) minus the value of imported content in the item (including all customs duties) as a proportion of the total value, in percent; “Margin of Purchase Preference under MII” means the maximum extent to which the price quoted by a Class-I local supplier may be above the L1 for the purpose of purchase preference. The margin of purchase preference shall be 20%, subject to price match quoted by L1 bidder. “Margin of Purchase Preference under MSE” means the maximum extent to which the price quoted by a MSE Bidder may be above the L1 for the purpose of purchase preference. The margin of purchase preference shall be 15%, subject to price match quoted by L1 bidder. “Non-Local Supplier” means a supplier or service provider, whose goods, services or works offered for procurement, has local content less than 20%;

Related to Food Grain

  • Food and food ingredients means substances, whether in liquid, concentrated, solid, frozen, dried, or dehydrated form, that are sold for ingestion or chewing by humans and are consumed for their taste or nutritional value. Food and food ingredients do not include alcoholic beverages and tobacco.

  • Food Scraps means those Discarded Materials that will decompose and/or putrefy including: (i) all kitchen and table Food Waste; (ii) animal or vegetable waste that is generated during or results from the storage, preparation, cooking or handling of food stuffs; (iii) fruit waste, grain waste, dairy waste, meat, and fish waste; and, (iv) vegetable trimmings, houseplant trimmings and other Compostable Organic Waste common to the occupancy of Residential dwellings. Food Scraps are a subset of Food Waste.

  • Retail food store means that term as defined in 7 USC 2012.

  • Retail marijuana store means an entity licensed to purchase marijuana from marijuana cultivation facilities and marijuana and marijuana products from marijuana product manufacturing facilities and to sell marijuana and marijuana products to consumers.

  • Food means a raw, cooked, or processed edible substance, ice, beverage, or ingredient used or intended for use or for sale in whole or in part for human consumption, or chewing gum.

  • Food processing plant means a commercial operation that manufactures, packages, labels or stores food for human consumption and does not provide food directly to a consumer. “Food processing plant” does not include any of the following:

  • Water supply system means a water distribution system, piping, connection fittings, valves and appurtenances within a building, structure, or premises. Water supply systems are also referred to commonly as premise plumbing systems.

  • Tobacco products means cigars, cigarettes, cheroots, stogies, periques, granulated, plug cut, crimp cut, ready rubbed, and other smoking tobacco, snuff, snuff flour, moist snuff, cavendish, ping and twist tobacco, fine-cut and other chewing tobaccos, shorts, refuse scraps, clippings, cuttings and sweepings of tobacco, and other kinds and forms of tobacco, prepared in such manner as to be suitable for chewing or smoking in a pipe or otherwise, or both for chewing and smoking.

  • food business means any undertaking, whether for profit or not and whether public or private, carrying out any of the activities related to any stage of production, processing and distribution of food;

  • Chemical Storage Facility means a building, portion of a building, or exterior area adjacent to a building used for the storage of any chemical or chemically reactive products.

  • Cannabis wholesaler means any licensed person or entity that purchases or otherwise obtains, stores, sells or otherwise transfers, and may transport, cannabis items for the purpose of resale or other transfer to either another cannabis wholesaler or to a cannabis retailer, but not to consumers.

  • Specialty Drugs means high-cost injectables, infused, oral, or inhaled Prescription Drugs for the ongoing treatment of a chronic condition, including but not limited to, the following: Hemophilia, Hepatitis C, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis, Crohn’s Disease, Cancer (oral medications), and Growth Hormones. These Prescription Drugs usually require specialized handling (such as refrigeration). Spouse means a person of the same or opposite sex who is legally married to Subscriber under the laws of the state or jurisdiction in which the marriage took place. A marriage legally entered into in another jurisdiction will be recognized as a marriage in the District of Columbia.

  • Medical marijuana concentrate means a specific subset of Medical Marijuana that was produced by extracting cannabinoids from Medical Marijuana. Categories of Medical Marijuana Concentrate include Water-Based Medical Marijuana Concentrate, Food-Based Medical Marijuana Concentrate and Solvent-Based Medical Marijuana Concentrate.

  • Tobacco product means any substance containing tobacco leaf, including but not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, hookah tobacco, snuff, chewing tobacco, dipping tobacco, bidis, blunts, clove cigarettes, or any other preparation of tobacco; and any product or formulation of matter containing biologically active amounts of nicotine that is manufactured, sold, offered for sale, or otherwise distributed with the expectation that the product or matter will be introduced into the human body by inhalation; but does not include any cessation product specifically approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in treating nicotine or tobacco dependence.

  • Hospital system means a hospital and one or more

  • food business operator means the natural or legal persons responsible for ensuring that the requirements of food law are met within the food business under their control;

  • Food Waste means waste food that is household waste or, as the case may be, commercial waste, and shall have the same meaning as that applying to Regulation 7 of the Waste Management (Food Waste) Regulations 2009 (SI 508 of 2009) or, as the case may be, to Regulation 6 of the European Union (Household Food Waste and Bio-Waste) Regulations 2015 (SI 430 of 2015);

  • Stores means the goods specified in the Supply Order or schedule which the supplier / contractor has agreed to supply under contract.

  • Retail tobacco store means a retail store utilized primarily for the sale of tobacco products and accessories and in which the sale of other products is merely incidental.

  • Bulk gasoline plant means a gasoline storage and distribution facility with an average daily throughput of 20,000 gallons (76,000 liters) of gasoline or less on a 30-day rolling average.

  • Radiopharmaceutical service means, but is not limited to, the procurement, storage, handling preparation, labeling, quality assurance testing, dispensing, delivery, recordkeeping, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals and other drugs.

  • Bulk gasoline terminal means a gasoline storage facility which receives gasoline from its supply source primarily by pipeline, ship, or barge, and delivers gasoline to bulk gasoline plants or to commercial or retail accounts primarily by tank truck; and has an average daily throughput of more than 76,000 liters (20,000 gallons) of gasoline.
