French Rules definition

French Rules means any applicable French laws, rules and regulations (including for the avoidance of doubt, those implementing MiFID) as well as any decisions, instructions, notices, guidelines, positions or recommendations published by any French competent authority, including the ACPR and/or the AMF, as from time to time in force, inasmuch as they apply to the provision of the PBLU France Services by the Bank and/or the PBLU French Branch;
French Rules means any applicable French laws, rules and regulations (including, for the avoidance of doubt, those implementing MiFID) as well as any decisions, instructions, notices, guidelines, positions or recommendations published by any French competent authority, including the ACPR and/or the AMF, as from time to time in force; and
French Rules means French laws and regulations including the rules provided for under the French Code monétaire et financier and the rules set out by the AMF in the Règlement général de l’AMF, as amended or replaced from time to time, as well as any MiFID II French implementing rules, as well as the provisions of the Order dated 3 November 2014 on internal control and any provision, regulation or guidance that is applicable to a French investment firm;

  • Subject to the terms of the 2001 Plan, the Committee reserves the right to amend or terminate the French Rules at any time in accordance with applicable French law.

  • It is intended that Stock Awards granted under the French Rules shall qualify for the specific tax and social security treatment applicable to Stock Awards granted under Sections L.

  • The Contest will be run in accordance with the English Official Rules at royale.ca/RefreshYourSpace, which shall prevail, govern and control in the event of any inconsistency with any Contest-related materials including but not limited to French Rules.

  • If the Stock Awards no longer qualify as French-qualified Stock Awards, the Board or Committee may, in its sole discretion, determine to lift, shorten or terminate certain restrictions applicable to the vesting or to the transfer of the Common Shares underlying the Stock Awards which had been imposed under the French Rules and/or in the Stock Award Agreement delivered to the French SA Recipient in order to achieve the specific tax treatment for French- qualified Stock Awards.

  • The adoption of the French Rules shall not confer upon the French SA Recipients or any employees of a French Entity, any employment rights and shall not be construed as a part of any employment contracts that a French Entity has with its employees or create any employment relationship with the Company.

  • The Contest will be run in accordance with the English Official Rules at https://www.kadusprofessional.com/ka-US/mykadusmakeoverwhich shall prevail, govern and control in the event of any inconsistency with any Contest-related materials including but not limited to French Rules.

  • FCA Rules means the Rules included within the FCA Handbook issued by the FCA.

  • M&A Rules means the Provisions on Merging and Acquiring Domestic Enterprises by Foreign Investors, which was promulgated by six Governmental Agencies, namely, the Ministry of Commerce, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the State Administration for Taxation, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (the “CSRC”), and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, on August 8, 2006 and became effective on September 8, 2006, as amended by the Ministry of Commerce on June 22, 2009.

  • PPB Rules means the rules of the Procurement Policy Board as set forth in Title 9 of the Rules of the City of New York (“RCNY”), § 1-01 et seq.

  • FSA Rules meanss the rules, guidance, principles and codes comprised in the Handbook of Rules and Guidance issued by the FSA.

  • Scheme Rules means the applicable SEPA direct debit or credit transfer scheme rules of the European Payments Council as amended from time to time.

  • PRA Rules means the Rules included within the PRA handbook issued by the PRA.

  • CCASS Rules means the General Rules of CCASS and the CCASS Operational Procedures in effect from time to time;

  • Park Rules means the rules of conduct and practice issued by us from time to time and applicable to the use of the Caravan and other facilities at the Park. A copy of the Park Rules in force at the date of this Licence Agreement is attached.

  • DOE Rules means DOE’s energy conservation regulations found in Title 10, Parts 429, 430, and 431 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

  • AIM Rules means the rules published by the London Stock Exchange governing admission to AIM and the regulation of AIM companies as amended or re-issued from time to time;

  • HKIAC Rules shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Section 10.13(a).

  • Network Rules means the operating rules of any Network, as may be amended from time to time and provided to Higher One in writing.

  • Hague Rules means the International Convention for the Unification of certain Rules of Law relating to Bills of Lading signed at Brussels on 25 August 1924.

  • SIFT Rules means the provisions of the Income Tax Act providing for a tax on certain income earned by a “SIFT trust” or “SIFT partnership” as those terms are defined in the Income Tax Act.

  • EU Retention Rules means: (i) Articles 404 – 410 (inclusive) of CRR; (ii) Articles 50 – 56 (inclusive) of the AIFM Regulation; and (iii) Articles 254 – 257 (inclusive) of the Solvency II Regulation, each as in effect as of the date hereof, together with any guidance published in relation thereto including any regulatory and/or implementing technical standards in effect as of the date hereof.

  • JAMS Rules has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 13 hereof.

  • Hong Kong Listing Rules means the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock

  • Union harmonisation legislation means any Union legislation harmonising the conditions for the marketing of products;

  • House Rules means the specific rules that are adopted by a facility licensee to govern the operation of a licensed facility and events, and which must comply with these policies;

  • Hague-Visby Rules means the provisions of the International Convention for the Unification of certain rules Relating to Bills of Lading signed at Brussels on 25th August 1924 as amended by the Visby Protocol of 23rd February 1968 and the SDR Protocol of 21st December 1979;

  • UK Data Protection Legislation means all applicable data protection and privacy legislation in force from time to time in the UK including the UK GDPR; the Data Protection Act 2018; the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive 2002/58/EC (as updated by Directive 2009/136/EC) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (SI 2003/2426) as amended.

  • Central Bank Rules means the UCITS Regulations, Central Bank Regulations and any regulations, guidance and conditions issued by the Central Bank from time to time pursuant to the UCITS Regulations, the Central Bank Regulations and/or the Central Bank Act regarding the regulation of undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities, as such may be amended, supplemented or replaced from time to time;

  • ISO-NE Rules means all rules and procedures adopted by NEPOOL, ISO-NE, or the RTO, and governing wholesale power markets and transmission in New England, as such rules may be amended from time to time, including but not limited to, the ISO-NE Tariff, the ISO-NE Operating Procedures (as defined in the ISO-NE Tariff), the ISO-NE Planning Procedures (as defined in the ISO-NE Tariff), the Transmission Operating Agreement (as defined in the ISO-NE Tariff), the Participants Agreement, the manuals, procedures and business process documents published by ISO-NE via its web site and/or by its e-mail distribution to appropriate NEPOOL participants and/or NEPOOL committees, as amended, superseded or restated from time to time.

  • Site Rules means all rules, regulations, directives and policies notified by the Company from time to time which are intended to be of general application to persons at a Site controlled or managed by the Company.

  • HIPAA Rules means the Privacy, Security, Breach Notification, and Enforcement Rules at 45 CFR Part 160 and Part 164.

  • Applicable Laws/ Rules means the laws/ Rules of Islamic Republic of Pakistan/Punjab, as they may be issued and enforced from time to time.
