Gated Community definition

Gated Community means a residential subdivision or housing development with a vehicular or pedestrian gate that contains two or more dwellings not under common ownership. The term does not include a multi-unit housing project.
Gated Community means a grouping of multiple or single commercial and/or residential units accessible through locked gates. Emergency services need quick access to these structures to provided requested services.
Gated Community means a form of residential community containing controlled entrances to restrict access and sometimes characterized by a closed perimeter of walls and fences. The internal roads of such form of residential community remain in the ownership of the subdivision as a common element and are not assumed by the Crown;
