GCC Rules definition

GCC Rules means the rules and requirements set out by the GCC Program related to GHG emission reductions and their certification, based on the GCC Program documents including ISO 14064-2,ISO 14064-3, the GCC Program Framework, the GCC Program Manual, the GCC Project Standard, applicable methodologies and tools, and the other documents mentioned in the GCC Documentation Framework as indicated in the GCC Program Framework available to the public on the GCC website.
GCC Rules refer to GCC Program Framework; "GCC Verifier (GV) or Verification Body (VB)" means an individual or an organization approved by the GCC Program to act as a GCC Verifier in respect of providing services in accordance with the GCC rules. A GCC Verifier can either be a GCC Project Verifier or GCC Emission Reduction Verifier and the personnel working in the verification team are called as GCC Project Auditor or GCC Emission Reduction Auditor. As per ‘GCC Program Manual’ (paragraph 72 (b)), GCC-approved project verifiers and emission reduction verifiers are also required to transparently assess the conflict of interest in the projects they evaluate. A Project Verifier cannot act as Emission Reduction Verifier of the same project activity and therefore a GCC verifier shall either conduct Project Verification or Emission Reduction Verification for the same project activity. In case of any conflict of interest the organization or person cannot be deployed to perform the verification;
GCC Rules means the rules and requirements set out by the GCC Program related to GHG emission reductions, SDG contributions, Do-no-net-harm on Environment and Society requirements, and certification based on GCC Program documents including ISO 14064-2, ISO 14064-3, the GCC Program Framework, the GCC Program Manual, applicable methodologies and Tools, and the other documents mentioned in GCC Program Framework and available on the GCC public website https://www.globalcarboncouncil.com/gcc-framework.html .

  • Verification team, whether composed of one or more persons, shall collectively have competence (all knowledge and skills) required as per GCC Rules, and the ability to apply such knowledge and skills to conduct a verification/certification.

GCC Rules means the body of rules and requirements set out by the GCC Program. GCC Rules form a regulatory framework for achieving GHG emission reductions and their certification under the GCC Program. GCC Rules include the ISO 14064-2 standard, ISO 14064-3 standard, the GCC Program Framework, the GCC Program Manual, the GCC Project Standard, approved methodologies and tools, and the other documents referred to in the GCC Documentation Framework (see section 14). The GCC Rules are available on the GCC public website.2 These rules may be updated from time to time.

Related to GCC Rules

  • ICC Rules means the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in effect on the date the applicable arbitration proceeding begins.

  • JAMS Rules has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 13 hereof.
