Government Rule definition

Government Rule means any statute, law, regulation, ordinance, rule, judgment, order, decree, directive, requirement of, or other governmental restriction or any similar binding form of decision of or determination by, or any interpretation or administration of any of the foregoing by, any Government Authority, including all common law, which is applicable to any Person, whether now or hereafter in effect.
Government Rule means any statute, law, regulation, ordinance, rule, judgment, order, decree, permit, concession, grant, franchise, license, agreement, directive, requirement of, or other governmental restriction or any similar binding form of decision of or determination by, or any binding interpretation or administration of any of the foregoing by, any Government Authority, including all common law, whether now or hereafter in effect.
Government Rule means any statute, law, regulation, ordinance, rule, judgment, order, decree, permit, concession, grant, franchise, code, license, directive, guideline, policy or rule of common law, requirement of, or other governmental restriction or any judicial or administrative interpretation thereof by a Government Authority, including any judicial or administrative order, consent decree or judgment or similar form of decision of or determination by, or any interpretation or administration of any of the foregoing by, any Government Authority, whether now or hereafter in effect.

Examples of Government Rule in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any Financing Document, the interest paid or agreed to be paid under the Financing Documents shall not exceed the maximum rate of non-usurious interest permitted by applicable Government Rule (the “Maximum Rate”).

  • Government Entity means (a) any federal, state, provincial or similar government, and any body, board, department, commission, court, tribunal, authority, agency or other instrumentality of any such government or otherwise exercising any executive, legislative, judicial, administrative or regulatory functions of such government or (b) any other government entity having jurisdiction over any matter contemplated by the Operative Documents or relating to the observance or performance of the obligations of any of the parties to the Operative Documents.

  • Government Agency means the government of the Commonwealth of Australia or an Australian State, Territory or local government and includes their authorities, agencies, government owned corporations and authorised officers, courts and tribunals;

  • Market Rules means the rules, regulations, customs and practices from time to time of any exchange, clearing house or other organization or market involved in the conclusion, execution or settlement of a Contract any exercise by any such exchange, clearing house or other organization or market of any power or authority conferred on it.

  • Government Authority means any foreign or domestic federal, state, provincial, municipal, county, city or local legislative, administrative or regulatory authority, agency, court, body or other governmental or quasi-governmental entity with competent jurisdiction, including any supranational body.
